🌞Suns out Tongues Out Season Continues!!👅

I know I shouldn't play favorites with as many dogs as I've helped train, so I won't. But if I did, Auggie would be close to the top! On day 1 he was nervous of me just walking in the door. By our final session we were playing tug and taking photos! I think he knew I was the one who showed his family to how to effectively communicate with him. Which in turn ment more treats and play time!

This post is long overdue! Meet Biscuit the Shepard mix!! Biscuit is one of the smartest pups I've had the joy to work with. Her parents knew they wanted to set her up for success and building clear communication lines is always the first step! Their hard work paid off and after just 4 weeks, they have a pup that knows all her basic obedience commands. Thank you Biscuit for all your hard work and Congratulations!! 🎊🎊

Meet Odin!! God of thunder and milk bones! This pitty mix was a joy to work with each week. He's strong willed and heavily food motivated. Odin didnt need an ounce of loose leash walking training, and as a professional dog trainer, it was awesome to see!

Meet Lemon!!! 🍋 This adorable French bulldog has it all!! She's cute, she's sassy, she loves to train, and is incredibly well behaved everywhere we've taken her. We've trained at Home Depot, Lowe's, Hobby Lobby! Training our dogs shouldn't just stop at the front door, and Lemons behavior is a testament to who our dogs can become with proper exposure. All of the credit should go to her owners who put in the work every single day!

Meet Koda!! This hound mix was such a joy to work with. She was aways so calm and eager to learn, passing her Pupp 101 course! With 5 brothers and sisters she will never be without a good belly rub, or someone to play fetch with!

🎓Graduation Season Continues!!!🎓
This graduate holds a special place in my heart ❤️ for many reasons. Meet Mila! Her owners reached out to me due to Milas intense fear of just about everything. Cars, sounds, dogs, people, the wind. There weren't many moments that I saw where she wasn't barking or shaking because something had spooked her.

Now, I dont normally take on fear cases that are this severe and I informed her owners of that right from the start. The process takes time and dedication from everyone involved and since I'm currently not full time I wasn't sure if I would be the right trainer for them. Even after informing them of that they still decided they wanted me to help guide them.

I may have shown her owners what needed to be done and how to do it but they are the ones who deserve every ounce of credit for Mila's transformation. Week in and week out I would be sent updates on Milas progress. From detailed time stamped updates to videos and photos showing Mila's highs and lows.

I'm so happy to report that Mila has finally learned that the world isn't as scary as she once thought. During our last session I saw a dog who was finally comfortable in her own fur. Her confidence was night and day compared to the first time I meet her. Environmental fear based reactivity training isnt about curing the dog of all her fear, especially when its as severe as Mila's was. It's about helping the dog learn to trust again. It's about giving her structure and clear guidance that we have her best interests at heart in turn building a stronger bond between owner and dog.

We dont know Mila's past or what may have happened to cause her fear but I do know her future. She's going to keep growing her confidence day in and day out because her owners are relentless in their efforts to bring her peace.

🎓Graduation season continues! 🎓
Meet Forrest! This Great Pyrenees mix has one of the best smiles on the market. I looked forward to it each and every week. That and his desire to want to learn made him a true joy to work with. In 4 short weeks Forest mastered his Puppy Obedience classes! I hope to see you soon Forrest!

🎓Its graduation season!!🎓 And this beautiful boxer just graduated Puppy 101!🐾 Meet Mocha! She's one of the smartest boxers I've ever had the joy of training. Every time I challenged her with a new position or command she understood the assignment and made me look good.😉

🐾This weeks Maximum Effort spotlight goes to one of my favorite boys Beau! Jack Russells are normally known for hunting small animals like rodents, but nobody ever told Beau that! He likes hunting delivery trucks and the drivers who control them! After several sessions, and the dedication his mom put in to his training, Beau is now defaulting to alternate behaviors like his place command whenever those scary trucks come by!
