Quarter Line Dressage wishes best rides down Center Line to competitors at the Summer at the Arch The National Equestrian Center this weekend including our own Kathy Bailey on her Krimson King JP, Caroline Bean on her Aqua JP, Jennifer Creamer on her Biagiotti & Morgan Williams on her MayaWFUSA - all coached by trainer Marketa Matthews.

We must keep remembering that dressage was made to keep horses healthy, strong, confident, and proud.

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 = Sound with PURE gaits.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 = Clearly seated in the haunches and coiling the springs of the hind end joints, into a rounded full top line.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 = Able to go wherever the rider wishes and stand quietly until further notice.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 = Mouth quiet, ears and eyes soft but alert, neck arched without tension, and all the energies going towards working with the rider, taking them proudly through space in whatever powerful gait required.

A sound horse is a strong horse who is confident and proud to work WITH you. Dressage is a partnership with your horse, not an assignment to accomplish at any cost.

Trainer – Marketa Matthews - Born in the Czech Republic, classically trained by world class equestrians, Marketa competed in Europe before moving to the United States. She has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals.

Her Classical Dressage training program focuses on creating harmony, longevity and a true partnership. In addition to providing lesson opportunities for clients in their horses, schooling and coaching at rated & schooling shows, Marketa offers in hand training, long lining & cavaletti sessions.

Quarterline frequently hosts clinics with top trainers throughout the year. Her students compete in levels from Training to Grand Prix. Conveniently located on Wildhorse Creek Rd off Long Rd just minutes from Highway 40.

This beautiful location boosts over 40 acres with gorgeous pastures and plenty of shade trees. The indoor arena has Clopf Footing to help maintain equine soundness.

Marketa lives on the property and believes in the importance of night checks, and carefully selects only the best hay and alfalfa to keep the horses healthy and happy.

Call for interview appointment, requirements below:
* Must be reliable, conscientious worker with transportation
* Willing to work outside in Missouri's elements
* Ability to lift around 60 lbs.
* Duties would include: cleaning & re-bed stalls, feeding & turning out horses, loading hay bales, cleaning waterers, sweeping
* Starting pay $17/hr, after 90 days increased to $19 for reliability and good work.

* Horse handling experience preferred
* Part-time weekday/weekends
* Credible references
