Our Story - Our Passion
Well Bred in Chester, founded in 2001, is the oldest NJ pet boutique. In 2013 we decided to focus on what makes the biggest difference in our pets' lives - healthy, species appropriate nutrition. Our mission is to make sure all neighborhood pets have access to healthy nutritious foods. This is our passion and whatever we offer you, is not because we were instructed to do it by the corporate (we don’t have a corporate to tell us what to do!) nor because make better margin on those products. It’s because we think it’s a right healthy choice for your pet! We not only sell what is popular but we do monitor market to make sure we work only with ethical manufacturers who put in the food quality ingredients and who do what they say they would do.
We also have an awesome boutique section with better chews and treats and safer, better products for all of your pet’s needs. That includes safe toys, healthy treats and food, bakery cookies, supplements and other hard to find supplies for canines and felines, all at fair prices! We also have fun things such as super comfy beds that last forever or comfortable high quality clothing for very cold days for your pets!
We select products based on what we would offer our own pets and we constantly test them on our own pets.
We are located in Chatham (Hickory Square Plaza), Chester (Main St), Clinton (1802 Rt 31- Grayrock Plaza) and soon in Livingston (S. Livingston Ave.) in New Jersey.
