From her first days at last June, and her stunning young mare, Kannavara, have been turning heads in and out of the show ring with their remarkable growth and unstoppable determination.

Bringing along a talented 7-year-old for the past two years is no small feat—and Ani has done it with patience, skill, and heart. 💪✨

Over the past year, she’s been fully committed to developing both her own skills and Kani’s in competition, earning 🔝 results along the way while advancing up to 1.15m. After relocating from Chile, the pair made their U.S. show debut this winter in Ocala with style and confidence. They built on that momentum this spring and , then spent the summer reaching new heights—securing 🥇 at . Ani wrapped up the summer season with a beautiful clear round on one of the sport’s biggest stages, .

🌟 Rider Spotlight: Callan 🌟

Since joining CRC, Callan has made incredible strides in the jumper ring. With consistent top finishes aboard Bijou du Pont Rihen (“Ducky”) at Princeton, WEC, HITS, and Harrisburg, she has proven herself as a focused and competitive athlete.

This past year, Callan successfully moved up to the next level with her talented gelding, Plot Twist III (“Ralph”), earning wins in the 1.20m at WEC and confidently stepping into the 1.35m at Princeton. Her quiet determination, strong work ethic, and love for the sport set a standard we’re proud of.

💫 We’re grateful to have Callan as part of the CRC family—she represents the kind of rider we strive to develop: skilled, dedicated, and kind. We’re excited to support her journey as she continues to climb in the sport.

Chester Riding Club

Chester Riding Club (CRC), located just minutes from Historic Downtown Chester, sits on 30 rolling acres in Morris County.

Owned by Jamie Maillet, a third generation horseman, CRC is the product of Jamie’s classical training methods, extensive experience at all levels in the show ring and sound horsemanship. Supported by Jamie’s team of skilled trainers, knowledgeable grooms, world-class veterinarians and farriers, CRC works to insure that the individual needs of each horse and rider are attended to. The ultimate goal of CRC is to tailor programs for each customer to produce winning horse and rider combinations in the hunter jumper discipline. From local shows to the AA circuit, from short stirrup to the grand prix field, CRC clients are well prepared and competitive.
