This week is all about our Client Service Representatives!
Meet Ladasia!
Ladasia, aka "Dasia", joined the WCPR team in August of 2023 and has played a key role in improving the front desk's efficiency and workflows! She loves to greet all of our 4-legged guests and is always glad to meet them "where they are", with patience and understanding especially for those pets who are a bit nervous for their first daycare or boarding visits. She also lends her artistic talents to our lobby area: Next time you stop by make sure you check out the monthly calendar on the wall! The things this girl can do with a dry erase marker still blows our minds! We're so glad to have you on our team, Dasia!

Happy World Book Day! This is the second year in a row West Chester Pet Resort is celebrating by taking extra time to read and cuddle. Eve is such a little outgoing Yorkshire Terrier. There is nothing more she wants besides cuddles and attention from staff. Eve and her sister Nola board at WCPR. They make sure to enjoy all the amenities the resort provides! Well....except the pool she says no thank you to that. She would rather sit out with you and sunbathe.

Monica joined the WCPR team in November of 2022 starting as one of our Guest Services members but quickly cross-trained as a member of the Front Desk team! Ever wonder who's behind all the adorable Facebook posts and fun events? -That's right! It's Monica! As our Social Media and Events Coordinator, she doesn't miss a fur baby Birthday or the opportunity to include your furry family members in all Holiday celebrations! Aarde, Terre, Jorden, Nchi, Burni, Earth , we all call it home. This magnificent rock composed of carbon and other space and starry materials placed ever so delicately and perfectly distanced from our star. Today we get to celebrate Earth Day the best way we know how by posting pictures of the absolute best earthly creations enjoying the world around them. Dogs never for one minute take their environment for granted. This earth day make sure to take a moment to step outside. WCPR Birthdays: Damian

Happy Birthday to Damian who is turning five today! This athletic and energetic boy loves to run around in large field. He really enjoys competing for toys ( particularly with his brother) and guarding the pool. Damian is a good listener and is well behaved. We are so proud of him and his parents should be too. Damian is known for having and wearing really cool collars pizza, pickles, Star Wars etc.. He also happens to be a stick coinsurer and loves to try to bring them inside.

WCPR Birthdays: Birdie

Happy Birthday Birdie! Today this German Shorthaired Pointer turns five. Birdie loves to chase and be chased by others. She can also be found occasionally swiping sticks from others leaping over mud puddles. She loves to play the catch me game when it's time to come inside like many of our bird dogs. It's because she knows we could use the exercise. Birdie is the sweetest girl. She is very loving toward staff and loves to be around us. We are happy to be celebrating her fifth birthday today. We hope many rubbings and treats are in store for you today baby girl.

WCPR's Pet of the Week: Rocky

Rocky is a very darling boy who has joined our daycare! He has been coming to our facility for more than two months now and is making the most of it! He has been making friends with staff and babies alike! He loves to wrestle and run with friends. He is a very sweet and gentle boy who always lays down in the lobby and receive rubbings. Rocky has a spectacular skill where he can find the mud ! He encourages his friends to live their best lives and join him in the mud spa! Mud facials all around!

WCPR Birthdays: Lola

We would like to wish Lola a very happy birthday! Lola the German Shepperd mix is turning five today. We hope she is partying with her sister Pepper today and that many treatos are afoot. Since starting her daycare and boarding journey with us , Lola has really come out of her shell. When she first got here she was a little apprehensive of staff and relied heavily on her sister, She still loves her sister the most, but has made many friends and staff is not nearly as scary. They really are more like treat dispensers.

WCPR Birthdays: Jasmine

This beautiful baby girl is turning seven! Jasmine has been coming to daycare for many years now and is truly a staff favorite. She is so sweet has many many friends at daycare. Jasmine enjoys swimming in our pool , lounging in the shade and going on leisurely walks where she can take time to sniff everything and everyone. We are pretty sure she has never met a person she didn't like. She is a most friendly baby. If you see her today, please wish her a happy birthday !

Kylie is a most special girl! She acts more human than dog a lot of the time. Some days she feels brave, friendly or adventurous, other days she seems more introvertive and would prefer a good cuddle in her room with staff . She has many hobbies that include running, rolling and parkour! A most athletic girl. She enjoys spending time with her friends and always makes a point to hug staff goodbye when her mom comes to pick her up. Kylie also has a feline sister that she rescued named Autumn! They have their moments . Today we couldn't be more proud of her as she is turning five!

Paisley is turning 7! On any given daycare day Paisley can be seen by the pool playing with a ball in her mouth. Maybe with two! Diving for toys and balls in our bone shaped pool is most definitely her favorite thing to do! She is great at it! She also loves spending time with her friends (particularly her best friend Gracie) and going on adventures with her mom! Last year they went out and explored the great state of

We would like to take a moment today to wish this pretty pretty princess a happy birthday! Holly is a five year old bloodhound and a cherished paw-ticipant in our most sociable daycare group. Holly is celebrating her birthday today with her brothers Harley and Henry. She is just the best big sister! When she is not wrestling and playing with other dogs, she is requesting cuddles from staff. One of her favorite pastimes is to lean on staff for hugs. She loves to finish the cuddle off with a good and thorough face wipe. Wiping her drool on you is a friendly way she can mark you as a friend.

Our Story

West Chester Pet Resort opened it’s doors to the public in 2008. Dr. Taylor Lyne and his wife, K.C., envisioned a safe, clean, and fun place pet owners could trustfully bring their furry companion for romp and relaxation. Over the years, West Chester Pet Resort has grown in more ways than one. Built on almost 5 acres, we provide a large open field and small field for off leash play, a nature trail for exploring, and our famous bone shaped in-ground pool! Let’s not forget, our 76 cozy and spacious luxury suites and indoor romp room. Whether you are bringing your pet to board, play in daycare or learn with our trainer, know your pet will be in paradise at our Fear Free facility.
