Dogs live with humans who have expectations & ideals of how a dog should be... Dogs live with perfectionistic humans who don't accept or tolerate a dog being a dog. They perceive their pups actions as misbehavior rather than considering that their pup is exhibiting displaced unmet physical and mental activity. When we understand our pups genetics, level of intelligence, personality and temperament and tweek our own behavior and routines to give back to our dogs there is a visible shift in human perspective and an increase in the animal human bond. Our dogs don't talk but they are speaking and when we are willing to be in a 2 way relationship, speak their language and teach them in a way they understand it is so much more rewarding to experience mutual trust and connection with our companion animals.
