🐾 Patient of the Week: Murphy! 🐾

After living in Germany for three years, this sweet family recently returned to the United States—and one of their first additions after coming home was Murphy, an adorable Doodle! ❤️

Murphy now shares his home with his big brother, Finn, whom you may remember as one of our previous Patients of the Week. We were so happy to welcome Finn’s family back and meet their newest four-legged family member!

Murphy quickly discovered that visits with Dr. Mathis come with a very important perk: peanut butter! 🥜 He was more than happy to enjoy a little snack while we helped keep him healthy.

🐾 Patient of the Week: Penny!

This adorable poodle mix welcomed us into her home this week for a routine preventive-care appointment.

Penny needed a little treat encouragement to step onto the scale—but once she discovered that standing on it earned snacks, she kept climbing back on all by herself! Apparently, she thought unlimited weigh-ins were included in the appointment. 😄

Penny was able to receive her examination and routine care in familiar surroundings, without the car ride, waiting room, or stress of visiting a clinic.

Thank you to Penny’s family for trusting us with her care and allowing us to feature this sweet, treat-motivated girl as our Patient of the Week! ❤️

For our Patient of the Week post, we have Spicy Pebbles, the rescued kitten that stayed with the Mathis Family! She is almost 3lbs now and is best friends with Willow the Bernedoodle🥰 Spicy is quickly finding her place in the household🐈🐾

Is there anything cuter than a Pug puppy??? Our Patient of the Week is Gibbs! Dr. Mathis has nicknamed this guy "Sir Squish" because he is a just a squishly little love morsel🥰 He also has the cutest tail ever, which required its own photo☺️

As promised, here are the 5 reasons why Dr. Mathis has been behind on Patient of the Week posts! Meet The Flintstones Kittens--found 3 weeks ago by Dr. Mathis' husband, she has been fostering these cuties since then. They have all gone to their new homes this week...except Spicy Pebbles, who wormed her way into the hearts of the Mathi and is now their new furry family member!🥰🐾🐈
