Didja know it’s Duck Week at Erskine’s? We may consider changing the name, though… we had a young visitor yesterday who was very excited to meet the ‘Platypus Chickens’! 😂🥰🦆

We opened up the observation hive yesterday. We knew there were a LOT of dead bees, and maybe some live ones. We’d seen a couple crawling around here and there, and sure enough, there was a small cluster, and quite a bit of honey stores! We added a package of Italians anyway to boost their numbers and get them cracking for Spring. Back in bees-ness!
