This Comet has had enough of flying through space and is ready to find a place to land! This poor senior gentleman seems a bit depressed since coming to our sanctuary, and we really want to find him a loving owner soon.

Comet is a brown tabby male, the vet aged him around 13 years. He's a relaxed senior that spends most of his time snoozing in his favorite box! He's very chatty when he wants to eat or when he wants your attention, but for the most part just snoozes.

Comet doesn't care for the other cats at the sanctuary and would prefer a home with no other cats, or maybe one other. He would make a fantastic companion for anyone really, but we think he would be an awesome companion for an older person.

We’re trying to find Nemo his FURever family!

Nemo is a tuxedo boy born in March 2014 who came to us in rough shape. He is diabetic and got some dental work done, so he is happier now. He does have some dry skin and feels best when we keep his fur shaved down a bit.

Nemo likes to lounge in the sun and be petted and talked to. He is a sweet boy! He does okay with other cats as long as they give him his space and don’t try to eat his food. Can you give Nemo the purrfect home? Apply here to adopt: https://forms.gle/4U19x6VuytCXxUzn9

Dog training - helping human and pet moving forward!

How did it all start?

It all started years and years and years ago. I alway adopted shelter animals cats and dogs. They come with an unknown past, you don't know what happened originally in their life. You may be lucky to receive a small amount of background information but it will take a long time to see the real picture. The real picture is not always the prettiest. That will cause a number of behavioral issues. I was always able to work with them and turn the dog into a happy and confident pet. I worked with their reactivity,, their fears. I helped them in building trust and confidence. Everybody always asked me and told me stories about their pet(s) and I gave them advice and provided the resources for everyone to work on the issues that at one time or the other arose. I always loved animals and I always will.

A friend kept bugging me over and over again since this is my passion why don't you turn it into your business. So I did but prior to that I had a 3 month apprentice ship and I took several different classes in order to become more efficient in my my over all handling and training skills in regards to people and dogs. I also received a confirmation that what I was already doing was correct. It made me feeling good but I also learned even more about human behavior as well as K9. It is very important to understand the different components in order to create the team of handler and K9. The fact is that the majority of us say it's a dog so what's the big deal, some breeds are just bad, they are vicious, they need to be band. NO they are not due to the fact that hundreds of years ago every breed was bred for a specific purpose. There is a difference between the toy breed and the working dog. Most of us are not aware of that and that is the reason why certain behaviors create a bad picture. The majority of breeds will require an experienced handler that understands certain behaviors. It is my responsibility to help and explain to the owner to understand why it is not that easy to take a Rottweiler a Pitbull or a GSD for a walk without teaching them not to pull, not to react to a specific case scenario. For example the earlier mentioned breeds have a higher drive them the toy breeds. Owners need to learn and should always resurge when considering to adopt or purchase a specific breed on their original purpose. I am that person that will teach a handler what the differences are and how to change certain reactions. The majority of owners respond to me with oh I did know that but that explains why he or she does this or that. Being a professional dog trainer refers to teaching owners how to build a foundation and deal with a dogs inner drive and behavior in order to create the well mannered K9.

I love what I do, it is my passion and I am here to give the voiceless a voice, that is all about me, the person who I am and what I am implementing to help owner and dog to be able to move forward!
