Dog Park updates:

Two benches will be added to the small dog area. A gazebo will be added once we find an eagle scout to install it. The Gazebo could be a few months.

The last order of bricks will be placed with the currently installed bricks in the next two weeks.

An enclosed agility area will be added to the far end of the dog park near the church.

Please note: Dog pools will Not be allowed in the dog park due to human and canine health concerns as per Chesprocott stated last year.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Dog Mom's!!

As I've suggested before, sharing water bowls at the dog park is not a good idea but it continues to happen and dogs are getting sick. I received this email today:

I would like to make a suggestion. No more water bowls filled and sitting at park. My dog is vaccinated against kennel cough and just got it this week. Went to vet and they told me it's the 6th dog they have been this week from the Cheshire dog park. They begged me to tell you guys to tell owners use a portable water bowl for their dog only. It's spreading like wild fire and it's from the dog bowls people leave and just refill. It's hard to keep your own dog away from those bowls when they are just running around. My dog is vaccinated and still got it. The vet assured me if we stop putting dog bowls of water out it will end or lower the rate of the cough that these dogs are getting from unvaccinated infected dogs.

Please do not leave bowls at the dog park, you bring a bowl, take it when you leave for health and wellness of all the dogs.
