Ocoee English Springer Spaniels

We have been devoted to English Springer Spaniels for 50 years. We have bred 81 AKC Champions. Our dogs live in our homes, we do not have kennels.

The mother and daughter team of Kathy Lorentzen and Melanie King have been involved with show English Springer Spaniels since 1972. We strive to produce happy, healthy, sane, sound dogs that fit the breed standard in both type and temperament. We keep a small amount of dogs and breed only three or so litters per year. The dogs that we breed from are all AKC Champions with all appropriate health cl

earances that are certified through OFA. We are AKC Breeders of Merit and have produced 73 AKC Champions to date. Puppies are available occasionally for home or performance, all sold on neuter agreements. Show puppies are sold only to qualified, experienced people. We guarantee our dogs and stand behind them for their lifetimes. We never want a dog that we produced to end up in a shelter or rescue, we are responsible for every dog we create and we will take your dog back at any time if for some reason you cannot keep it. This is what happens when you leave your dogs home with your husband. Out for their last evening romp, Tipi came in pristine and Benji came in, well, like this. It hadn’t been raining, so John was perplexed. Until
He remembered that he had just backwashed the pool before he let the dogs out. And Benji went around behind the pool house and found the hole where the backwash drains. And he had a ball!!

And guess who was washing a dog at 10pm???

All our puppies for this year are sold. No puppies until spring 2022.

We will take reservations but we require a $100 deposit at the time you make your reservation. The deposit is refundable if we do not have a puppy for you. It is not refundable if you just change your mind.

Our companion puppies are $2300. They are in house raised, highly socialized, wormed, vet checked, eye examined by a canine ophthalmologist, PRA DNA tested and have their first vaccination. They are ready to go at nine weeks of age.

We did a frozen semen breeding and our girl is not pregnant. So no puppies planned for us until summer 2021.

PUPPY UPDATE!!! Due to our National Specialty, scheduled for September, being cancelled we are happy to announce that we are expecting TWO litters the third week of July. The second one is GRCH Ocoee It Figures! ex CH Ocoee High Resolution. We expect puppies of both colors in both litters.

We are accepting some reservations for these puppies now. They will be ready to go to their new homes the end of September. Contact [email protected] for info.
