Morning feed and clean up needed for 19 horses and 2 cats. This is an outdoor job in all weather and every day of the week and usually takes about 4-5 hours a day. No experience needed. What IS required is a person who has a strong work ethic and is willing and able to learn. This is a relaxing place to work where you can enjoy being around the horses. You get to be outdoors everyday and interact with animals much more than humans. Minimum age, 18. Must have reliable transportation to and from farm.

This is a seven day a week outdoor job doing the morning feed, looking the horses over for wellness, picking their manure and cleaning the barn. It usually takes about 4-5 hours time although additional work is often available during the summer. Interaction with the horses is required, but there is minimal interaction required with people. There are no co-workers; and, after on-the-job training, there is no micro-managing. No experience is required. What IS required is a person who is reliable, has a strong work ethic, and is willing and able to learn. The work environment is low stress and peaceful. You must be at least 16 years old. Interviews will be conducted through and including Thursday, June 24.

There is currently an opening for a new boarder at our farm in Chelsea, MI! We try to make everyone feel welcome as we give their horses the best care possible. Board is $300 per month. White O'Morn Farm is dedicated to giving horses the best life possible. Part of that is that we pasture board all horses so that they are not confined to a stall (except in case of illness, etc.). Their pastures have large run-in sheds and automatic waterers and they are picked every day to minimize flies and disease. Since every horse is an individual, we see that they get whatever feed, supplements and medication that they require.

Boarders have access to a 200' x 80' indoor arena, a 100' x 300' outdoor arena, a wash rack with hot and cold running water, about 20 acres of open riding area and a parking area for trailers.

We emphasize a peaceful atmosphere and a quiet way of going about things.
