Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month may be coming to an end, but our appreciation for our veterinary nurses doesn’t have an expiration date.

To our veterinary nurses: you are absolute force multipliers. You take chaos, urgency, and emotion and turn it into calm, skilled action. You anticipate needs before they’re spoken, advocate for patients who can’t speak for themselves, and carry a level of responsibility most people will never fully understand.

You are the steady hands in critical moments, the reassuring voice for worried families, and the backbone behind every smooth surgery, every recovery, every patient that gets to go home.

It’s not just care—it’s precision, intuition, grit, and heart working together under pressure, day after day.

We see the long shifts, the emotional weight, the quick pivots, and the thousand small things you do that no one always notices—but everyone benefits from.

Simply put: none of this works without you. And it never will.

Ensure pets have ID tags or microchips
Watch for heat exposure and provide shade/water
Keep pets away from fireworks and loud noise
