As you guys know we have had a family emergency. Things are going ok. It is a complete life change for us as my dad who is older had to have an emergency leg amputation right above the knee . They live in Skagit county but were down here visiting. So this just changed everything for all of us. We really appreciate all the love and prayers from you all. As well as your patience on us getting back to you and updates on the dogs. We could still use them…. We all are running on fumes but today is better.

We have been asked for an update on Kona as well. Kona is our latest owner surrendered/ rescue girl. She is a 7 year old Australian shepherd. She is fixed, house trained, crate trained and leash trained. She knows how to sit and shake. She has met people on our walks and done wonderfully. Obviously met my parents and do great! She’s great with our daughter. She has been great with our other dogs and has seen our livestock through the fence same with our cats. Kona has been a great girl all around! She came to us due to no fault of hers. She just wasn’t getting the We will continue to work with her till she finds her perfect family.

Everyone- we have a family emergency right now- started yesterday. So if we are slow to respond please understand. Please send prayers for our family as my dad is having to have major surgery today from the emergency.

I will have my phone on me. And get back to people as soon as I can, but if I miss your message or call, please just call or message again I’m not ignoring you. I just have a lot of things I am juggling and family always comes first. There will be times I can answer quicker than others but I will do my best.

*** Kona is pending ***Everyone meet Kona our newest rescue. She is a 7 year old fixed Aussie. Her family grew since they got her and she ended up on the back burner. They wanted more for her and knew she wasn’t getting the attention she deserved. She is a good girl and we will work with her for a bit and then look for a perfect forever home. Again, she is a rescue NOT bred by us. She also did not come with papers or medical records.

Already getting back on track❤️. Oh how I love how smart this boy is. He is an amazing boy. I just started practicing going out of sight with him on our hike the day before he had left. I just love his mind. He is going to make someone an amazing addition.

C**t would like to say I’m backkkkkkk! I’m using C**t as example of why you should always disclose and be upfront as possible. C**t came back because while he was coming in from outside he jumped on his new mom and knocked her over. She has health issues we did NOT know about and if we did we would have had a much different conversation about a right fit. You see… c**t learned this behavior in his first home. It was never corrected then. Since he has been back with us he never tried this on us, our family who stay with us, our daughter, or strangers. We did warn the family about this and explained that in a new environment he may try his old tricks and they just needed to be corrected and his training maintained and continued. Obviously this didn’t happen. This whole situation could have been prevented.

We are already putting him back to basic obedience to re set his foundation. Again, he has not tried to jump on us since being home but this is a set back to all the work we did.

So please be honest and upfront with the person you are working with regardless of who it is. We are an open book hence this post. We expect the same from people inquiring as we want the best fit for all of us. This isn’t fair to C**t who has no idea why he was retuned yet again.

C**t is truly an exceptional dog and would excel on a farm, an active family, doing agility etc. we will be even more picky where he goes now. So expect a lot of questions if you are interested when he’s ready. And please be HONEST and UPFRONT.

Cody is our last dog at the moment looking for a family. Cody was found running loose and has never been claimed even tho there has been multiple posts about him, calls into all the vet clinics and police station.

Cody is super sweet. I have no clue on his age we are estimating between 2-4. He has been being worked with since he came to us and will continue till we find him a perfect home.

Cody appears to be an Australian shepherd he has a bobbed tail for those who love tails!

He has been great in our house, crate and now on the leash. He is learning basic manners!

Cody is coming along nicely! Took this video last night on our walk. This guy is the sweetest boy. Just a gentle old soul. No clue about his age. We would probably estimate 2-4 but again no clue. As he was found wandering a highway.

We have vaccinated him and dewormed him. As well as worked on training. He knew NOTHING when he came here and wanted to pull you down the road. He does great in his crate too.

Happy to take SERIOUS inquires on him via call, text or message. I won’t respond to questions or interest in the comments.

C**t ( on the left ) went to his new family today. I didn’t get a photo before he left ( all groomed) but here is one of C**t and Pepper ( found her family as well!) yesterday on our hike!

C**t is such a special boy. He came so far in his training in the 1.5 months he was back here! He is not even the same dog. Pretty dang proud of him.

I can’t wait to hear about all his adventures with his new family.
