Another round of feeder pigs in the barn. Picked up 5 Red Wattle x GOS piglets couple weeks ago from Rickey's Farm and picked up another 2 Duroc x Berkshire x Hereford from Keck Farms in Petoskey. Pork will be restocked again in August with more cuts and flavors available.

65 quail hatched out of the 85 locked down.

This was the first time I used bags for hatching out eggs. They were a little smaller than what I was wanting, maybe I shouldn't have ordered so many at once. 🤷‍♀️ I did like the fact that you can seperate each breed by the bag and also that they can't run around and trample the other chicks as they are trying to hatch out.

Placed 16 American Breese eggs, locked down 12 and hatched out 10 from The Back 40 Acres, LLC.

Placed 18 rainbow eggs, locked down 3 welsummer, 3 backcrossed olive eggers covered by a welsummer and 4 backcrossed olive eggers and hatched out 2 welsummer, 3 BCOE welsummer cross and 1 backcrossed from Simply Feathered Acres.

Can't wait to get back down state to be able to pick up more hatching eggs from them. I mean just look how beautiful they are!
