🐾 A Little About Me & Something to Bark About Pet Grooming 🐾
I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself and share a little bit about my journey as a groomer. Leaving your fur baby with someone is a big deal, and I completely understand how important it is to know who is caring for them. ❤️
I have been a pet groomer for 27 years. My journey started at Doggie Styles Pet Grooming in Rossville, Georgia, where I worked alongside my family for 15 years. My sister was the one who taught me how to groom, and I will always be grateful for those years of learning, growing, and building my passion for this career.
After that, I spent six wonderful years at Wags 2 Whiskers Pet Grooming. I loved my time at both places and learned so much, but over the years I realized my heart was in a smaller, calmer environment where I could focus on quality over quantity and truly give each dog the attention they deserve.
That is exactly what I have created at Something to Bark About Pet Grooming. 🐶
My grooming salon is a small shop attached to my home, and I have been proudly serving clients from this location for the past seven years. I work alone and provide one-on-one grooming, meaning your dog gets my full attention from start to finish. This setup is especially wonderful for senior dogs, anxious dogs, dogs who don’t do well with the hustle and bustle of large salons, and honestly, it gives owners peace of mind too.
Unlike big grooming salons, I do not keep dogs all day. Most appointments are a simple drop-off and pick-up once your baby is finished, usually within about two hours.
I have been blessed with many wonderful recommendations from my clients, and I truly believe that comes from treating every dog like they are my own. ❤️
I know it can be hard leaving your fur baby with someone you don’t know, especially in today’s world. I want you to feel confident knowing your dog is in the hands of someone who is compassionate, patient, considerate, and truly loves working with dogs.
Thank you to every client who has trusted me with your precious pups over the years. I wouldn’t be here without you. 🐾
