Life update~ my physical limitations (per last scan) just make instruction too risky for me. It’s too much temptation to get on a horse “just real quick” and a fall could be life threatening. Someday, I hope to revisit this passion, but for now I will be find my joy helping you all through judging. 2025 will also be the last year I will be an active USEF WD “r,” so please take advantage of this next year if you’d like your shows to be WDAA approved. I am looking forward to working with riders from here on in the grassroots, where I have always felt the most useful.

I spent a beautiful Saturday at Lincoln County, NC Horseman's Association at the Ponderosa judging such harmonious partnerships! I realized on the drive home that not once did I have to penalize BTV or heavy hands. Even my beginning riders were so patient, kind and truly having a great time with their horses. I brought along my scribe-in-training, Brodie David Matesich and he practiced so one day soon he can attend my judges training sessions to scribe for me. I’m so thankful for my NC horse community.

Meanwhile, back in my Ohio horse community, the absolute worst nightmares were coming true. I’ve had such a heavy heart over the tremendous loss suffered. So sad for dear friends directly affected. I can’t think too much about it or I’d cry constantly. I will include links to the Go Fund Me below.

**Announcement for NRCHA members** Reined Cow Horse Association

~ We have been informed that our Ace of Spades Mouthpiece original version is now considered illegal by the NRCHA.

~ We have made some modifications and have gotten official approval that the updated version is NRCHA Legal.

To get your mouthpiece modified to meet the new NRCHA requirements:

1. Ship it to our shop. Be sure to REMOVE all tack (headstall, curb, reins, etc.)

I had a great time judging again at FENCE over the weekend! How I wish I could package this place up and send several to the Midwest where facilities this grand are so needed. Wow, is it nice!! The icing on the cake was my ring being full of Pony Clubbers most of the day! I’m so proud of my time working and volunteering in the Tristate Region and need to get back to the USPC. ❤️ Thank you to the dedicated crew at the Foothills Riding Club & especially my amazing exhibitiors!
