Many of you know me from my Richard Simmons days, my rescue work, or from the endless stories and photos of my ridiculous crew of cats. 😹

What some of you may not know is that I'm also a certified cat behaviorist, and for more than 20 years I've been helping cat families work through some of the most challenging behavior issues, including litter box problems, fighting between cats, aggression, anxiety, introductions, and more.

I work virtually with clients all over the country, helping people understand what's really behind their cat's behavior and creating practical plans that bring peace back into the home.

If you know someone who's struggling with their cat and feeling overwhelmed, please keep me in mind. Sometimes all it takes is the right guidance to keep a family together and help a cat stay in the home where they're loved.

And of course, thank you for continuing to cheer on this crazy cat lady and her 15 rescue cats. ❤️🐾

This is just another reminder of why I advocate for keeping cats indoors (or enjoying the outdoors safely in a catio or on a harness).

A rabid bobcat was recently confirmed in Chester County, SC, exposing two people and one dog. Most of us never expect something like this to happen close to home, but wildlife diseases are one of many risks outdoor cats face.

Even the smartest cat doesn’t know the difference between a healthy wild animal and one that is sick. A curious cat may investigate, or a territorial cat may try to defend their space.

Keeping cats indoors isn’t about depriving them. It’s about protecting them from dangers they can’t understand, including rabies, cars, predators, toxins, fights with other animals, and getting lost.

Please make sure your pets’ rabies vaccines are up to date, and if your cat enjoys the outdoors, consider safer options like a catio or harness walks.

Stay safe out there, everyone. 🐾💜

It’s unusual to see Brownie and Simba sharing space. It’s so funny how they’re both scrunched up on that tiny little pillow! There’s a whole big blanket there but no they want the tiny pillow 😹

I think it’s an unwritten law of attraction that if you’re watching TV with a cat, the remote control is going to end up under their butt. Case in point! That’s Dexter’s butt. 😹

Here’s a photo from last night Simba giving Simon a bath. Simba hardly ever gives baths!
