Do you love betta fish? Do they remind you of every trip you’ve taken to a pet store?
Did you know that the common betta fish, Betta splendens, are native to Southeast Asia. In the wild, they typically live in rice paddies and other slow moving streams or bodies of water within Southeast Asia. Their harsh living conditions mean these hardy little fish are pretty well equipped to deal with all kinds of conditions, from floods to droughts.

Are you looking to add a furry noodle to your family? Come check out our Ferret! They’re young and full of energy when they’re awake. Did you know ferrets can spend up to 18 hours a day sleeping. Also, Ferrets are crepuscular, meaning they are most active at dawn and dusk. Their vision is best in the low light at these times of day.

Let’s play a game; it’s called Crab Count! How many hermit crabs can you count in these photos?

The hermit crabs most commonly found in the pet trade are known as Purple Pincers (Coenobita clypeatus). They originate from the Caribbean and are one of the hardiest hermit species. Hermit crabs are highly social and do best in groups, and they communicate by chirping.
