A miracle happened yesterday.
It started with trapping at an abandoned house. Oftentimes, you don't know what hungry kitty you'll catch or the trauma that brought the cat to that place.
Yesterday, April 16th, one of our volunteers received an email. Please call to discuss a situation about a cat. Upon reading that, the volunteer's heart took a dip. Trapping tragedies are not uncommon but always met with tears. In this case, when the sheet was lifted on the trapped cat at the clinic, two little ones had made their appearance into our world. The staff at The Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) got to work. Mama and babies were gently transferred into a large crate. By the end of the day, this sweet angel had delivered 4 tiny miracles.
A plea went out for a foster for this precious young mother, and a long-time heroine and her dear friend, Lisa & Becky, sprang into action. We are so grateful for these two valiant feline lifesavers!
