Do you adore animals and love spending your days caring for them? We’re looking for dependable, compassionate Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers to join our Charlotte Pawz (formerly known as Chloe's Playhouse) team!

About the Role:
You’ll provide in-home care for pets while their owners are away — everything from walks and playtime to feeding, litter cleaning, medication, and lots of love. We care for dogs, cats, and small pets throughout the Charlotte area.

These are daily essentials for keeping our animals fed and their spaces clean and safe. If you’re able to pick up an extra item or two, it would make a huge difference for the dogs and cats in our care!

Apartments have been seriously damaged after a fire broke out early Tuesday morning in east Charlotte. It happened on English Hills Drive, not far from the intersection of East W.T. Harris Boulevard and Albemarle Road.

"I opened my front door, and there's a fire truck," one resident said. "I was asleep, we were both asleep. It was very quiet, I woke up, I was smelling fumes. I just woke up because of what was in the air."

Medic said paramedics responded to the scene, but nobody has been taken to the hospital for treatment. One of Medics' paramedics provided life-saving oxygen to a small kitten pulled from a burning building.
