Zipline, a recently adopted kitty, visited us at UrgentVet for a check-up to make sure he was happy and healthy in his new home. We loved meeting this curious and confident little guy—he’s clearly already a beloved member of the family.

Hope, a lovable dachshund, came to see us at UrgentVet because she wasn’t feeling her best. While we worked to figure out what was going on and got her started on medications to help her feel better, she made herself right at home—winning hearts along the way.

Bodhi, a beautiful Silver Lab, recently visited UrgentVet Matthews after a suspected snake bite. Thanks to his quick-thinking family and timely care, he received the treatment he needed and handled it like a champ.

Yesterday, our team at UrgentVet Mckinney had the solemn honor of providing care for K9 Officer Azi, a devoted partner who gave his life in the line of duty. Azi was a hero, a protector, and a beloved member of the McKinney Police Department.

Our hearts go out to Azi’s handler, fellow officers, and all who knew and loved him. His dedication and bravery will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, K9 Officer Azi. You were deeply loved, and your service will always be remembered. It was a privilege to care for you.

🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT: OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING 🚨

The McKinney Police Department has released an official statement regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 13, 2025, at the Red Roof Inn on 1300 North Central Expressway.

The investigation remains active and has been turned over to the Texas Rangers. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
