Meet Walsh, the most handsome 6-year-old Golden Retriever and our March Pet of the Month! 🐾✨ Walsh came to Southeast Animal Behavior & Training for generalized anxiety and fear-related aggression. With the help of Dr. Maggie and his dedicated parents, he has made incredible progress! 💙 Thanks to his tailored behavior modification plan, Walsh now enjoys time with other dogs at boarding facilities and in public. Best of all—he's now a big brother to an adorable Golden puppy named Chuck, and they’re getting along beautifully! 🐶🥰 We are so proud of you, Walsh!

Meet Arrow, Southeast Animal Behavior & Training's February Pet of the Month! 🥰

Arrow is a 5-year-old American Staffordshire/Labrador Mix who came to us after experiencing some rough play and occasional scuffles with her siblings, along with struggles with noise sensitivity. Thanks to a personalized treatment plan and her family’s incredible dedication, Arrow has made tremendous progress—she’s now getting along with her sisters and showing great improvement in managing her noise sensitivity. 👏🏻

Way to go, Arrow, for all your hard work and growth!🙌🏻

Meet Scooby, a 4-year-old Dachshund/Terrier Mix, who has been working hard with Southeast Animal Behavior & Training since 2023 to overcome fear-based aggression. 🐶

With the incredible dedication of his owner and Dr. Maggie’s carefully tailored treatment plan, Scooby has made tremendous progress. His owner recently shared this heartwarming video of Scooby enjoying his soccer ball without becoming overstimulated or showing signs of resource guarding—a huge milestone! ⚽🐾

We absolutely love receiving updates from our amazing clients, whether it’s through videos, photos, or just a quick message. Seeing your pets thrive is why we do what we do! 🐕💛

🌟 Meet Bert: A Training Success Story! 🌟

Bert, a 3-year-old Bernadoodle, is an incredibly smart pup who has made amazing strides in overcoming fear-based aggression and anxiety. When Bert first came to Southeast Animal Behavior & Training, he struggled with fear and insecurity, making it tough for him to feel comfortable in his surroundings.

With the guidance of Dr. Maggie, our Board-Certified Veterinary Behaviorist, Bert began his journey with a detailed treatment plan tailored to his unique needs. Dr. Maggie recommended private training sessions with one of our trainers, Kelly, who specializes in empowering dogs to gain confidence and independence.

During Bert’s training sessions, Kelly taught him the "place" command, creating a safe haven where he could go whenever he needed space. This newfound autonomy allowed Bert to feel more secure and in control of his environment. Over time, Bert began seeking out his spot on his own, a big milestone in his progress!

Bert’s devoted owner Robin, has also been key to his transformation. From using talking buttons to validate his feelings to giving him breaks when needed, Robin’s patience, creativity, and love have built a strong bond based on trust and understanding.

Bert’s journey is proof that with the right care, guidance, and dedication, every dog can thrive. At Southeast Animal Behavior & Training, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive approach to behavior care, combining expert veterinary insight with customized training programs to create a complete package for success! 🐾

🌟Meet Eddie: Our First Pet of the Month for 2025! 🌟

Eddie is a 5-year-old Cavapoo who comes to Southeast Animal Behavior & Training for help with anxiety, leash reactivity, sibling discrepancies, and inappropriate elimination. 🐶

Thanks to the collaboration between Dr. Maggie, Eddie's incredible mom, and our amazing trainer Camille, Eddie is making great strides! 🙌🏻

With in-home training sessions to address his leash reactivity and his mom's dedication to the plan, Eddie is thriving. We’re so proud of his progress and can’t wait to see him continue to grow! 🤩 Way to go, Eddie!👏🏻

🎉✨ Happy New Year from Southeast Animal Behavior & Training! ✨🎉

What an incredible year it has been! In 2024, we supported not only our canine companions but also our feline friends as they navigated through behavioral challenges. We met so many new clients and their furry family members, helping pets of all ages— from playful young pups to wise senior dogs—become their best selves. 🐾

We are closed today to celebrate the start of 2025, but we’ll return to normal business hours tomorrow, January 2nd, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Thank you for trusting us with your pets’ growth and progress this past year. Here’s to another year of happy tails, purrs, and pawsitive transformations! 🐶🐱🎆
