Please take this seriously! You’re not helping your dog by walking them in extreme heat - you’re doing them a DISSERVICE and putting them at risk!

(Please note: We will not walk dogs in extreme heat!)

✨Must be 18 or older
✨Knowledgeable of animal behavior
✨Able to pass a background check
✨High school diploma or GED
✨Valid driver’s license
✨Proven experience working as a sitter

Today is National K9 Veterans Day. Did you know there are 2,500 dogs serving for the U.S. military at any given time?

While these dogs are undoubtedly heroes and have saved many lives, I can't help but think about the trauma and PTSD these dogs have to face after having to endure hundreds of missions and being around gunfire and explosions.

Not only that - but after retirement, these dogs have a hard time adjusting to a normal life (just like their human counterparts) making it difficult for them to find a forever
home.

I wanted to make this post, as a Veteran, to show my gratitude towards these dogs and also bring awareness to the hardships they face.

We are super excited for Cause for Paws!!! The event is TOMORROW!! 💗

Dozens of adoptable dogs from local rescues, exciting raffles from vendors all over Charlotte (including Paw’d!) and donations for CMPD Animal Care and Control

The event will be at Lost and Found Charlotte from 5:30pm-8:30pm! See you there!! 🐾
