Welcome Gilmore Guests' Ivey and Toretto! Guest's 83 & 84!!

Meet Ivey and Toretto, two lovable 3 year old Jack Russell mix pups who are ready to find their forever home together. These two are a bonded pair and must be adopted into the same home.

Ivey and Toretto are affectionate, well behaved, and a joy to have around. They are fully potty trained, crate trained, dog and cat friendly, and do great in the car. They love spending time with their people, whether that means curling up for a cuddle or tagging along on daily adventures.

Ivey is a petite 10 pounds, while Toretto weighs 16 pounds. Their personalities complement each other perfectly and they truly thrive when they are together.

If you are looking for a sweet, easygoing duo that already knows how to be great house guests, these two may be the perfect addition to your family!

Foster or Adopter Needed for Sweet Baby Baxter!

📍Charlotte, NC

Meet Baxter. A 4-month old Treeing Walker Tick Hound puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is the last hound puppy from a group of babies who were sadly dumped in October, and we honestly cannot believe this baby has not found a home yet. His 4 sisters were adopted in under 2 weeks.

Baxter is hilarious, just had his rabies vaccine, fully kennel trained, potty trained, knows - sit, stay, wait, shake, etc! He is curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure.

Baxter loves:
• His kennel
• Treats
• Learning new tricks
• Playing with other dogs
• Nap time
• Stealing shoes 🤣🤦‍♀️

He is a true puppy in every sense. If you are looking for pure holiday chaos in the absolute best way, Baxter is your guy.

Baxter has received his rabies vaccine and his first round of puppy shots. He is available for foster or foster to adopt.

Happy Holidays!

We are reaching out one more time with an urgent request to help sweet Gordon! Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have raised $189 toward his $350+ needs, but we are still working to reach our $350 goal so Gordon can finally be neutered and never end up on the streets again!

Gordon’s neuter appointment is scheduled for tomorrow at 8:00 a.m., so time is truly of the essence. Even a small donation right now makes a big difference.

Gordon's story: For the first time ever, we pulled a dog from Rowan County Shelter, and that dog was Gordon, formerly Milo. What we learned about his past broke our hearts. Gordon had been adopted from that same shelter three times before we found him. Even more devastating, the third pull was done by a dog rescue that clearly failed him.​

​​Despite all of this, Gordon was never neutered... Each time he was found wandering the streets alone. Each time, no one answered when the shelter called to say he had been found. Again and again, he was returned unaltered and set up to fail.
When we arrived to get him, we were surprised to learn we still had to pay a full $85 adoption fee, even though we are a 501(c)(3) rescue. The shelter does not have a veterinary clinic and does not spay or neuter dogs before adoption.

Now Gordon is finally safe, loved, and thriving with the other rescue pups. It is time to do the one thing that should have been done long ago. He is currently hu***ng all the boy dogs and marking everything in sight, which is expected for an unaltered male LOL, but we want better for him immediately.

Gordon deserves stability, comfort, and a real chance at a happy life. Thank you for helping us give him the fresh start he should have had all along. Your support right now means everything!

Foster Needed for Sweet Baby Baxter

Baxter is hilarious, fully kennel trained, house trained and full of classic puppy energy. He is curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure with other dogs. He lovvvves other friendly dogs!!

We are fundraising to make sure Gordon never ends up on the streets again and that he is finally neutered for good.

Can you help us raise $300 to cover his surgery, medication and heartworm prevention/flea and tick?
