Welcome, Dr. Olu! 🎉
Reza', Claire, and all of the staff are thrilled to welcome Dr. Olumuyiwa Tolulope Ojeyinka (aka Dr. Olu) to the Charlestown Animal Hospital! He is a passionate and experienced veterinarian originally from Nigeria. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2008 from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s premier veterinary school, and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) in 2011. With over a decade of hands-on experience in both food animal and small animal practice, Dr. Olumuyiwa has built a well-rounded career grounded in compassion, dedication, and a deep love for animals. After many years of practice in Nigeria, he moved to the United States to pursue further studies and continue growing in his veterinary career.
As some of you already know, he is currently here on an F-1 student visa which only allows him to be employed as a veterinary technician, and as such you may meet him taking your pet's history or helping the techs with blood work or vaccines. However, in mid-July USCIS did grant us an H-1B employer-sponsored work visa, (which we have been working so hard for), and that term will start on October 1, 2025!! WAHOO!!! Since he did earn his NH Conditional Veterinary License in May, you may also meet him during your pet's exam as we are starting his on-boarding so he will be fully ready to see appointments and perform surgeries here, with the Charlestown twist to what he did in Nigeria, starting in October. We feel his first 2+1/2 months with us have confirmed he is a good fit here and we are so excited to have him join our team in caring for our patients and clients
Dr. Olumuyiwa is committed to providing high-quality, personalized care for every pet he treats. He brings a thoughtful, knowledgeable approach to each case, always striving to strengthen the bond between pets and their families. His diverse background and global experience allow him to approach veterinary medicine with insight and empathy. Outside of work, he enjoys watching and playing soccer and unwinding to Afrobeat music.
Dr. Olumuyiwa says he is excited to be part of Charlestown Animal Hospital and looks forward to serving the community with warmth, expertise, and integrity.
