Container: Keep them in shallow, separate containers or small tubs (like the one in your photo) to prevent cannibalism.

Water level: 1–2 inches deep at first so they can reach the surface easily.

Tank size (as they grow): Transfer to larger tanks as they outgrow cups.

Dechlorinate tap water before use.

Temperature: 16–18°C (60–65°F); avoid anything above 20°C (68°F).

Ammonia/Nitrite: Should be 0 ppm – do daily water changes (50–100%) to keep it clean.

Use a turkey baster to remove waste without disturbing the babies.
