BOARDING
We are excited to have our kennel and play/socialization area, built in 2015, which allows increased boarding abilities! Rest easy knowing your dog will be loved just like one of our own while you are away and you will be able to follow their stay on our page or request private mobile updates to check in our your best friend. All boarding prospects must have proof of vaccination (rabies,

kennel cough, proof of flea prevention, distemper and Parvovirus)

Prices are $18/day for 1 dog or $30day for 2 dogs and $15 for each additional dog. All of our puppy owners receive a boarding discount. Going on an extended trip? We also offer discounts on extended stays of a week or more Please provide your dogs own food as dogs can get upset stomachs with changes in diet and we want to make your dogs stay as smooth as possible!! Walking/socialization and playtime is all included. Does your dog have special needs or require medications? No problem we would be happy to keep them on the same regimen as at home! Questions? Special requests? Just ask we are willing to accommodate however we can! BREEDING
We started planning our breeding program in 2011 with the addition of Buddy and are excited to see that it is starting to come together! We added Jewels and Lucy the beginning of 2014 and it has grown from there!! We love our dogs and the strong bond that forms between dog and owner. We look forward to helping others enjoy the love of a lab!

🐾 Do you know how many rejections it costs to be a breeder?

Being a breeder is not just pictures of cute puppies and pride in beautiful dogs.
It is also a whole ocean of rejections that are invisible to someone on the outside.

🕰️ Time? There is no such thing as "free"

You forget about weekends, trips, vacations. At least for a few hours.
You can't go to the movies with newborns lying in the crib.
You can't sleep peacefully at night if the pregnant bitch is worried.
You can't leave the incubator when one puppy is fighting for its life.
There is no "break" in breeding. Every minute counts.

💸 Money? You invest endlessly

💰 Good dogs are expensive - and very expensive.
💰Tests, genetic tests, exhibitions, travel, food, supplements, c-sections, medicines, vaccines, accessories - these are thousands of dollars 💵
💰 Income? Sometimes it just goes away. There isn't any. Sometimes you are left in debt and... with an empty bed.

💔 Emotions? You learn patience and pain

➡️ When a puppy dies in your arms, and you are powerless.
➡️ When a bitch does not give birth, despite your efforts.
➡️ When you have to refuse a person who "only wants one dog", because you see that it will not be a good home.
➡️ When you sacrifice everything - and in return you receive hatred, jealousy and slander.

👩 ⚕️No routine - you are a breeder, but also:

🩺 a nurse/neonatalogist
🍼 foster mother
📖 in genetics
📦 in logistics
📷 a photographer
🧹 a cleaning lady
🧠 a psychologist
💬 advisor to their clients, often for years

👨 👩 👧 👦 family and friends ?? Things can be difficult

- "We can't meet because the bitch is giving birth." ""
- "I won't come because the puppies have diarrhea and I need to guard them." ""
- "No, I won't leave them with anyone. "It's my responsibility."

Not everyone will understand. Not everyone will stay.

❤️ But through it all... it's love

Love for animals, for their lives, for the development of the breed.
Love that makes you get up 10 times a night.
Love that doesn't let you take shortcuts.
Love that makes babies grow up healthy and makes you happy despite being sick,or tired.

🐶 A breeder is not a "puppy person".

This is someone who gives up their OWN comfort for the benefit of animals.
This is someone who doesn't equate love with money.
This is someone who lives between joy and pain, and still wouldn't trade it for anything else.

❤️ Respect passionate breeders. Every day they give everything they can, although no one sees it. ❤️

Ps. I give my consent to copying, let it go into the world because Breeding is not only about cute puppies. 🥰. I copied from River Retrievers LLC

Now that her family has made it Facebook official, I am beyond happy to say that Boots is in her forever home. We have known the Olmsteads for many years. Mr. Olmsted‘s GSP, Jax, used to come stay with us frequently until he tragically passed away a short time ago from bone cancer. And it was a tough winter where he also sadly lost his wife as well. Mr. Olmsted‘s daughter has Bowser from our Addie and Luke litter . Bowser has been a great dog for their family for several years and has known Boots since she was old enough to play in our daycare as well. When Mr. Olmsted had mentioned he missed having a dog around and would love to have another, but did not want a puppy it again just seems like destiny was putting everything in its place. Boots settled in as soon as I brought her over to their home and within a couple of days , they had decided she was not coming back lol!! Boots’ grandmother is Bowser‘s half sister and bowser‘s family lives only about 20 feet from Mr. Olmsted‘s home as well. So they will be spending all kinds of time together. We are so grateful things happen as they are supposed to and she will be the perfect addition to their family and of course we will still get to see her when they come for daycare on and off. ❤️❤️
As always, our goal for our puppies is to get them in the perfect homes no matter what !They are always going to stay with us until the match is perfect 😍

Well……I always have said thing happen as they are meant to. It doesn’t mean those things are easy but if something is meant to be who am I to stand in the way? Jen and Dan have a pup from us from 2018 (winter x buddy) named Millie and she just lost her housemate this year Gus. I know how hard it is to lose a dog and how hard it is to be ready for another. When they reached out something clicked that stars were aligning as our oldest is heading to boot camp soon and we will be going for his graduation in October and as much as I just love Zara is it fair to keep a puppy right now knowing she could have sooo much love and attention and also help lessen the silence and help heal a broken heart….probably not. There was a reason she stayed with us and that was to eventually be with Jen Dan and Millie. So today they all came to meet her and see if the universe was right. It was. My heart hurts some but it is also so much happier to know what an amazing life she will have with her new family. So congratulations Jen, Dan and Millie! Most of all congratulations Zara you sure hit the jackpot 💕

As promised here is a video of the big dogs the senior dogs boots, Sherpa, Tori, Judy, Alia, jewels , buddy Toby, and one of our borders Bella. Ta**us and Rhett are separate because boots is just finishing up her first heat cycle so she cannot play with intact boys, but she plays with everybody else
