✨ Transformation Tuesday: Gizmo Edition ✨

Our sweet Gizmo had another vet visit today, and we have some really great news to share.. Since coming into rescue, this little girl has gained over 2 pounds! She is also almost completely clear of ringworm and was healthy enough to start her vaccines today! 🎉

And we got another bit of encouraging news — Gizmo may not need a full enucleation after all! Her eye will continue to be monitored as she grows, and we’re hopeful that she may be able to avoid having the entire eye removed.

Through everything, Gizmo has remained the absolute sweetest baby. She is a total purr box, loves pets and attention, and will happily remind you that wet food is one of the greatest things in life. 😂

It’s amazing to see how far this tiny girl has come from the sick, 1-pound kitten who was found abandoned in a box. We are just so happy to see her starting to thrive!

🖤 Transformation Tuesday: Toothless Edition 🖤

What a difference a couple of weeks can make. 🥹

About two weeks ago, this tiny little guy came into our care after being rescued from the streets. At just 1.4 pounds, Toothless was severely underweight and dealing with more than any little kitten should have to — anemia, a mass around his jaw/neck, lice and even maggots. He was sick, uncomfortable, and desperately needed some TLC.

But this tiny man has plenty of fight in him! Fast forward to his appointment last week… Toothless weighed 2.6 pounds! He has almost DOUBLED his size🎉

He’s filling out, getting stronger, and discovering just how good the spoiled foster-kitten life can be as he’s gotten pretty comfortable with this whole snuggling-up-in-a-big-cozy-comforter thing.

He still has a journey ahead of him, but today we’re celebrating just how far he’s already come!

Happy , Toothless! Keep growing, sweet boy. We’re all rooting for you. 🖤🖤

It’s been a tough few days behind the scenes in rescue 💔 We’re heartbroken to share that we lost these two sweet babies to panleuk.

Jack and Jill were trapped from a feral colony with their siblings and were only with us for a little over a week, but that doesn’t make losing them hurt any less. In their short time with us, they were safe, warm, cared for, and loved.

We debated sharing such a heartbreaking part of rescue, but Jack and Jill deserve to be known. Their little lives mattered, and they deserve to be remembered.

Three of their siblings are still with us and thankfully doing well for now. We’re holding them extra close and hoping they continue to stay healthy.

We’re so sorry we couldn’t save you, Jack and Jill. You deserved so much more time… Run free together, sweet babies. No more sickness, no more fear. 🌈🐾❤️‍🩹
