Every day, messages come in from people desperate to find help for cats and kittens with nowhere to go. The reality is simple: if we don’t have fosters, we can’t say yes. 😭

Fostering is one of the most impactful ways you can help save lives. Whether you can take one kitten, a litter, or an adult cat — your spare room, bathroom, or quiet corner could be the difference between safety and uncertainty for a kitty in need.

🐾 Available for Adoption: Decker 🐾

A few weeks ago, a kind Samaritan heard crying coming from her garage and went to investigate. There she found a malnourished little cat in need of help. After earning her trust with regular meals on the family’s deck, “Decker” got her name and a second chance at life.

Since coming indoors, Decker has adjusted beautifully. She’s a sweet, gentle girl who enjoys affection and will seek out pets from her people. She especially loves hopping onto her foster’s lap for some quiet cuddle time. While she enjoys companionship, Decker also appreciates having her own space and is perfectly content spending time on her own.

One of her favorite activities is perching on the cat tree and watching the world go by from the window. She is currently being fostered with another cat and a dog, but her foster believes she would likely thrive as the only pet in the home where she can be the center of attention. 👑

Decker has come such a long way from the scared, hungry cat found crying for help. Now she’s ready to find a loving forever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and adored.

How has nobody applied for these girls yet?! 🥺💕

Peanut Butter & Jelly are STILL waiting for their forever homes! These sweet sisters were surrendered through no fault of their own after their owner was forced to rehome them. They are safe in foster care now and absolutely thriving. ❤️

🍇 Jelly is affectionate, talkative, and loves being a lap kitty.
🥜 Peanut Butter is our more reserved little bobtail queen, who blossoms with patience and love.

They can be adopted together or separately into the right homes — we just want them loved the way they deserve. 🐾

This sweet orange tabby boy is looking for a new forever home in the Charleston, WV area. He was originally rescued after being found stuck down in a large hole in the ground. His previous owner was located but did not want him back, so he’s now hoping for a second chance with someone who will love him forever.

• Very sweet and affectionate
• Loves sitting on your lap
• Gets scared easily by loud noises
• Does okay with dogs, but is afraid of large dogs

Jax Update 💛

We know it’s been awhile since our last update on Jax, but in rescue… no news is usually good news. 😊

And thankfully, that’s exactly the case for our sweet boy!

Jax is still a happy, growing kitten and two weeks ago he officially took his last dose of medication after nearly 3 months of treatment! We are so proud of how far he has come through all of the medications, vet visits, ups and downs, and uncertainty along the way.

These days, Jax is busy being the world’s most annoying little foster brother — chasing his foster siblings around the house, wrestling with cats twice his size, and making sure everyone knows he wants to play. 😂 Despite everything he’s been through, his sweet personality and nonstop purring motor have never changed.

He has now started his vaccine series and will be neutered soon, which means this special little guy should be ready to find his forever home sometime this summer. 🏡🐾🫶🏻

Thank you to everyone who has followed his journey, supported his care, and cheered him on every step (and wobble) of the way. 💛

Our tiny fighter saw our primary vet this week, and they agreed that she is too small to safely undergo surgery or anesthesia at this time.

For now, the plan is to continue keeping her injury clean, managing her comfort, and giving her time to grow and gain weight. Once she’s bigger and stronger, we’ll reevaluate surgical options to correct the degloving injury — though there is also hope that with healing and supportive care, she may not need surgical intervention at all.

The best update of all? She is already settling into her foster home beautifully. She’s playing, exploring, enjoying cuddles, and acting like a happy kitten despite everything she’s been through. 💕

Thank you again to everyone who has donated, shared her story, and followed along on her journey so far. Your support is helping give this sweet girl the chance she deserves, and we’ll continue to keep everyone updated as she heals.

And yes… she still needs a name 🐾
