Remember our sweet boy Fievel? He came to us with two large masses on his back. We are happy to share the masses were benign! Woot! Woot!😃 His scars are healing up and we’re working on helping him shed a few lbs. as awaits his forever home.

He loves to lay outside in the sun and sleep in his foster mom’s bed each night. He does great with other dogs and enjoys his daily walks with his canine friends. Fievel is calm yet stubborn. He is quiet inside and outside will sound the alarm if there is anything that catches his attention in the yard. Your typical complex, yet highly lovable beagle!

Fievel is 6 years old and currently weighs around 35 lbs. He s heartworm positive and is available for a local Charleston, SC area foster to adopt home that is comfortable with the activity restrictions for the duration of treatment. You can find an adoption application at carolinacoonhoundrescue.com

🙏🏼Beatrice needs your help!🤞

We pulled Beatrice a few weeks ago from an overcrowded shelter. You could tell immediately how much she cherished being in a foster home. All smiles and as sweet as can be. We knew there was an issue with her back leg but didn’t know to what extent. What we did know is that her chances of getting adopted from the shelter were slim to none.

We got her in with an orthopedic specialist that week. We learned she was born with a deformed leg that needs to be removed in order to give her the best chance of living her best life. Fortunately, she is young and we feel good about her adapting to being a tripod.

The estimate for her amputation is $2,500. We did raise almost $500 initially and that covered her appointment with the specialist, her spay, and additional vet care. She is one of several medical cases we’ve come across recently and we could really use your help.

While we know this is not the best time right after the holidays, we know Beatrice can’t wait any longer. Every little bit helps. Thank you in advance!

How is this loving and sweet gal still searching for her forever home?

When Reba arrived, she was pretty startled by everything. But thanks to her amazing foster family, she is thriving. While she can still be timid in new situations or with loud sounds, she has figured out the routine and has started to show her true personality.

She is a girl that will follow her nose. So, beware squirrels if you think you’re getting in the yard, you won’t be staying long before the chase is on! And the couch is one of her favorite spots. She will climb up to curl up next to the human that chooses to sit on it or her canine foster sister.

Reba is 2 years old and weighs around 40 lbs. She is heartworm positive and is available for a local Charleston, SC area foster to adopt home that is comfortable with the activity restrictions for the duration of treatment. You can find an adoption application at carolinacoonhoundrescue.com

Looking for the sweetest senior boy? Check out Roy!

Roy (fka as Action Jackson) is around 7-8 years old and was adopted in 2022. He is back with us through absolutely no fault of his own. He’s a wonderful dog that deserves a forever home.

He is a laid-back guy that likes leisurely walks, shredding stuffed toys, and enjoying a tasty bone. And if you are on the couch, be prepared to offer cuddles! Roy would do best in a home with other calmer dogs, and is good with kids and cats too!

We have recently learned that this gentle boy has Cushing's disease. The symptoms are being managed with daily medication. While we know this may make it harder to find the perfect home for Roy, we know one is out there.

If Roy sounds like a great fit for your family, you can find an adoption application at carolinacoonhoundrescue.com

Oh Roman! You are gorgeous!!!!😍

This handsome Redbone is two years old and weighs around 60 lbs. He’s a high-energy, fun-loving boy who truly enjoys life and everything it has to offer. Whether it’s playtime with other dogs or soaking up attention from his humans, he’s always ready for action.

He does wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely loves to play, making him a great candidate for a home with a canine companion. He’s also cat-friendly, showing no issues sharing space with feline friends.

True to his breed, Roman is active, social, and thrives when he has room to move and people (or pups!) to engage with. He would do best in a home that can keep up with his energy and give him plenty of opportunities for play, exercise, and companionship.

Roman is both house trained and crate trained. If you’re looking for a happy, energetic dog who loves both people and animals, this Redbone could be your perfect match! Get your adoption application in today at carolinacoonhoundrescue.com

If you have been following Honey, she has had quite the fitness journey!💪 She started at 100 lbs. and is now at her ideal weight of 75 lbs. Looking good girl!

Honey exudes love and is pure sunshine. She insists that she is lap sized and will try to sneak onto yours. She has recently discovered the couch and enjoys a cozy blanket while she cuddles.

She is great with other dogs and lives with 3 cats in her foster home. While she needed a slow introduction due to her extreme enthusiasm, she adores them now. And she’s great with kiddos too!

This sweet girl has faced a number of medical hurdles since she came to us, and she still has a ways to go. We're working through some allergies, hoping a special diet will do the trick. And she had a cherry eye repair done that, unfortunately, did not take and will need to be redone.

Honey is 4 years old and recently received her final heartworm treatment injections. She is available for adoption to a LOCAL TO CHARLESTON, SC home that is comfortable with the activity restrictions for the remainder of treatment and other medical needs. You can find an adoption application at carolinacoonhoundrescue.com

From the CCR family to yours, wishing you a very Merry Christmas!🎁🎄

Even though Bruno is the longest foster in our rescue, we are so thankful for his dedicated foster family. And just one look at this handsome redbone, you can tell he feels the love. We know his people are out there.

Enjoy time with your family and friends, and may your hounds not steal you holiday meal.🤣
