Thanks to grant funding by the Floyd County Community Foundation we are offering another Cat Neuter Clinic with Avenue of the Saints Animal Hospital - Charles City! 🙌

🐾 $30 Reduced Cost Per Cat - Payment Required
🐾 MALE Cats ONLY - 2 per Household
🐾 Cats must be YOUR Personal House Pets
🐾 Each Cat must be in their Own Carrier for Drop Off
🐾 Drop Off is October 16th, between 8-8:30AM at Ave of Saints Vet - 2208 Shadow Ave, Charles City, Iowa
🐾 FLOYD COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY. You will need to provide name, address, and animal information when making the appointment.
🐾 Appointment Includes: Neuter, Rabies Vaccine, Distemper (RCP) Vaccine, & Microchip (additional veterinary services and pain medications available for additional costs)

Canine breeds characterized by brachycephalic skull structures, such as French Bulldogs, Pugs, and Boxers, are prone to obstructive airway disorders, which can result in varying degrees of respiratory distress and snorting. In many instances, surgical intervention is necessary to alleviate airway obstruction and improve respiratory function. Meet Bella, a French Bulldog and cherished companion of our Charles City office receptionist, Jessica. Bella underwent stenotic nares resection and elongated soft palate resection to improve her breathing. Following Dr. Wedeking's nares resection, Bella's blood oxygen saturation increased from 96% to 100%, a testament to the efficacy of these procedures in enhancing respiratory health in brachycephalic breeds.
