*Limited Booking Dates* My human parents and my furry siblings called and said that we have to come home to celebrate the holidays, so we are headed to the mountains December 3-5 🦃 🎄We have a fabulous dog-loving friend who will be helping out during those dates, but we do drastically limit bookings while we are away. If you need care that weekend, please text us asap to reserve your pup’s spot!

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY, BAILEY! We can’t believe how grown up you are, you’re one cool doodle and have the most fabulous lineup of decorative collars to choose from. We hope you are celebrating with lots of cookies and maybe some ice cream, too!🍦

Can you believe we’re halfway through September? The holidays are just around the corner. We’re accepting bookings through January, so be sure to reserve your furry friends’ holiday stays now! 🦃 🎄 ✨

And then… we’ve been notorious for going against our own pricing, but beginning this Thanksgiving, we will be adding our holiday fee for the following dates this year: November 24-28 and December 23 - January 3. Thank you for your understanding! We pawmise we will have holiday dog-approved cookies for both holidays, maybe even some human-approved ones, too.

We somehow missed National Dog Day two days ago, but in all honesty, every day is doggo day here at MoPups! We really do love our pups 🐾🐾

Did you know that we open our doors to pups almost 365 days a year? The last day that we didn’t have a pup in our home was April 18th, 2020 😱. Yes, that’s 2020, and we can probably blame the pandemic for giving us that Saturday off so long ago!

As always, just a reminder to book your fall and 2021 holiday travel dates now!

P.S. We’ll be sharing our January - June 2022 tentative out-of-town dates soon, so keep an eye out so you can plan accordingly for your pup care!!

Wanna know a crazy story? Our dogsitting life began with one mini Goldendoodle who we would care for every Friday. We are now so extremely lucky to have expanded our MoPups family with a diverse set of pups, each with their very own personality and quirks. Now we are caring for pups all the time!

With that being said, we wanted to share that we will not be accepting any new pups until the end of June (at the earliest). We are doing this to be as loyal to all of our current fur-families as we can, especially since the dates are booking up and are limited. We truly appreciate your continued trust in us watching your fur kids while you’re at work and traveling!

Current MoPups Families: Don’t forget to send us your dates when you have them! The spaces are still limited and filling up quickly.

Rest & Recovery! 💤

We definitely love sending home tired puppies from daycare and sleepovers, but that doesn’t mean we exclude nap time from our days.

Yet, it’s important for pups to have chill time throughout the day! A few benefits?

1. It balances their mood (no grumpy playtime here!)
2. Provides them the ability to feel calm and reduce anxiety
3. Helps their body function properly

Sleepovers! 💤 Do you remember your pup’s first sleepover?! As a pawrent, it’s totally acceptable to be worried about your furry kiddo. They’re not going to be under the same roof as you for the evening!

Elmer just completed his very first sleepover! He did so with flying colors. After a rainy afternoon, we snuggled in for movie time and then bedtime. When it was time, Elmer went to sleep in his crate (since that’s what he is used to at home) and slept all the way through the night without a peep. He said there is nothing better than waking up to your best furiends and getting to play right away in the morning!

What do we think helped make his first night away a success?
Two things: 1. He has been coming to daycare a couple days a week for about a year, so he’s familiar with the spaces where he played and slept. 2. We stuck with his routine of having him sleep in his crate so that he has his safe, cozy spot while everyone is sleeping - and he knows we’re only a hallway away in case he needs us!

Happy Puppy Day! We love being involved with puppies from a young age. Once they’ve been vaccinated and can come to play, it’s wonderful to see how they make friends, share toys, and explore the world (well, the backyard)!

This year we've been working dilligently to have all the proper documentation to keep our records updated, petsitting insurance active, and make sure everything is clear for everyone involved!
