This!! I have seen kids who were so shy and unsure lead and then ride my biggest guy...riding doesn't just teach kids to ride it teaches them confidence and to trust themselves

A mom once asked me why her 8-year-old should learn to ride when 'horses are dangerous.'

Here's what I told her... Horses don't just teach riding skills - they teach life skills.

When little Emma approaches a 1,200-pound animal and learns to communicate through body language, patience, and respect, she's learning confidence that will serve her in every classroom, friendship, and challenge she faces.

Yes, horses are powerful. That's exactly why learning to work with them builds such incredible character.

Several months later at that discussion, that same 'shy' little girl now leads her horse with her head held high and helps nervous new riders feel brave. THAT'S the real magic of what we do. ✨

So today Nyx Pelters did a thing...something they have dreamed of for 5 years...they took their horse..the one they broke out..the one they invested so many years in..they took this amazing horse to her first show..and not only did they take this horse to this show they freaking WON!! I could not be more proud of the work they put into Miss Baby Mare to make her the horse she is today!!

Well here we are... 5 years in the making I could not have imagined us being here..but Nyx saw the potential in this little horse...today Phoenix takes on her first show..cant wait for many more!!
