Training Dogs isn't enough. Building Arizona's first indoor dog park wasn't enough. Our 31,000 square foot facility was just a stepping stone to finding out that we can and will do more!

Training others to train people how to help their dogs is our next passion project! In addition to our existing work load - our training team is also carving time to train people from all around the country and accelerate the pace in which they can be assets and resources to their local communities!

We are so thankful and grateful for all of the amazing opportunities that we get to be a part of and we are always looking for more ways to help!

The future of Dog Training completely depends on the work we do today - and we at Mak Pack are always up for the challenge!

ATTENTION -

Effective on June 8th, our Tempe location will be transitioning to Moego, a new customer portal.

Why: Our previous platform is no longer being supported by the developers. We’ve shopped long and hard to find a new platform that meets our existing needs AND allows us to improve the overall experience.

How: There will be minimal effort on your part - simply log in, put in your phone number, verify, and your account will be good to go! Sign up link will be in our bio!

Hi all!

Spencer here - thanks to everyone for your patience during the transition from our last software to the new one.

We've been keeping track of all the important issues that you guys have been sending in, and we are working quickly to find solutions. I wanted to give a few updates!

1. Phone systems look to be fully operational. There was an issue where calls were being routed to an outside line that we didn't have access to - this has now been fixed.

2. Online booking for Daycare and Boarding is operational and working as expected. We have found solutions to limit bookings during capacity, but not restrict bookings into the future.

3. Daycare drop off hours are updated - you can now select a range of time instead of just 7am

4. We are still working through some additional features, but those seemed to be the bulk of the feedback at this time.

We still believe this new system will be better in the long run, once we get past these growing pains!

Our Story

Spencer's Dog Training journey started at a young age in Vancouver, BC. He had the privilege to work alongside Trainers and Behaviorists at a Hunting dog academy. Spencer championed gun dogs and show dogs as a Junior handler, but his true passion was Animal Behavior.

After moving to Arizona, Spencer knew that he wanted to continue to pursue Dog Training and Animal Behavior. Spencer spent 7 years as a Dog Trainer for PetSmart - in that time he led his store to be the #3 store in the nation for Dog Training, and was hand picked to train future Dog Trainers! His passion and knowledge ultimately led to PetSmart consulting with him to revamp their Dog Training curriculum - which is still in use today!

Spencer and Lauren Mak started Mak Pack Dog Training & Boarding 6 years ago on a simple premise. To provide an all-inclusive experience for Owners and their Pets. They have devoted their nights, weekends, and holidays, to the unwavering philosophy of Behavior, Obedience, and Socialization.

When a dog comes into our care - we ensure that we provide them with everything they need to be successful and well adjusted - Structure, Obedience, Socialization, Behavior Modification, Potty Training & More! With their new venture - and having a dedicated Indoor Training, Daycare, and Boarding facility - they no longer want to be the best kept secret in Canine Care and Education.
