We had fun showing off out retail shop and grooming skills at a charity fashion show today. Our youngest owner was manning the booth and showing how all the products work. I made sure she didn’t eat to many treats 🤣

I love this first photo illuminating dog and groomer trust!!!😍 Kopol's ears are protected from the loud dryer and groomers face protected from loose dog hair blasting out of Kopol's shedding coat. This photo is precious, but our groomer wants to remain anonymous wearing the funny hat.😆

Ah, puppies 1st groom.🥴 Best age for that is around 3 months. Grooming requires training when the pup is young and trusting. Waiting could result in continued undesirable grooming behavior. Neuter or spay will also calm grooming behavior for small breeds at around 6 months. This pup Koda's 1st groom was today at 9 months, and he's not neutered!😬 Full of hormones and anxiety, but for as wiggly, reluctant, matted and spoiled as this little darling was, Koda's 1st groom turned out ok.😮🤯 This required LOTS of love, patience and praise. He did a lot better then I could ever imagine. Good boy Koda!🤎 I didn't say he wasn't dang difficult.😵‍💫 How did I do that!!??🤣

Meet Chase! He is one of our new shop co-owners as of October 29th, 2024. He shares that responsibility with his 7 year old daughter, Aria. How cute is that?🥰 I can't say enough about this kind-hearted and endearing guy who has taken over and won our hearts at More Than A Groomer. Chase is not a dog groomer, but he really loves dogs, respects the groomers' artistry in their craft, can fix anything, along with his dad, and he knows how to run a truly proper business.👍 He is an outstanding guy to have the pleasure to work for and with.
