🐾✂️ **Happy International Dog Groomer Day!** 🧡💜

Today, we're celebrating the talented, hardworking, and compassionate groomers who make every day a little more *PAW-some* here at Dog's Day Out Grooming! 🐶🫧

Grooming is about so much more than a fresh haircut and a cute bow. It's about patience, trust, comfort, and helping every pup look and feel their very best! 💕

From the wiggly puppies and nervous first-timers to our sweet senior pups, our groomers put their hearts into caring for every furry friend who walks through our doors. 🐕❤️

✨ **To our amazing grooming team:** Thank you for your dedication, your gentle hands, your creativity, and the love you pour into your work. We appreciate everything you do!

💡 **A Little Grooming Tip:** A healthy coat starts at home! Regular brushing between grooming appointments helps prevent painful matting, removes loose fur, and keeps your pup's skin and coat healthy. 🪮🐾

💬 **Help us celebrate!** Has one of our groomers made your pup look extra fabulous? Share a photo of your freshly groomed furry friend in the comments and help us show our team some love! 📸💜

🎃🐾 FETCH-IT FRIDAY: HALLOWEEN EDITION! 🐾🎃

Okay, humans… step away from the costume aisle. 😂

This year, your dog gets to choose their own Halloween costume.

👻 If your dog could pick ANY Halloween costume, what would they choose?

Would they be…
🦸 A superhero because they already believe they run the house?
🍕 A giant slice of pizza because food is their entire personality?
👑 Royalty because obviously you are merely their staff?
🦖 A dinosaur so they can finally unleash their inner chaos?
😈 Or something that fits their personality a little too perfectly?

👇 FETCH US YOUR ANSWER!

Tell us your pup’s name + the costume THEY would choose!

📸 BONUS: Drop a picture of your little trick-or-treater in the comments! If they already have a Halloween costume, we definitely want to see it!

Poochie will be judging costume choices based exclusively on treat potential. 🎃😂🍖

🐾✂️ POOCHIE’S PRO-TIP TUESDAY! ✂️🐾

Is your pup’s body still looking fresh from their groom…but their face is starting to look a little fluffy, messy, or overgrown? 👀😂

That’s totally normal! Many grooming styles leave the head and face a little longer than the body, which means those areas may need attention before it’s time for the next full groom.

A quick face trim between grooming appointments can help:

🐾 Keep longer facial hair from tangling and matting
👀 Keep hair out of the eyes so your pup can see comfortably
✨ Keep the eye area cleaner and reduce buildup around the eyes
🍽️ Keep food and moisture from sitting in the hair around the mouth
🧼 Reduce staining and keep that adorable face looking clean and fresh
✂️ Maintain the shape of their groom until their next full appointment

For pups with longer or continuously growing coats, a little maintenance between appointments can make a BIG difference! 💜🧡

And the best part? You don’t necessarily need another full groom just because that adorable face needs a little cleanup.

Stop by Dog’s Day Out Grooming for a quick face trim between grooms! 🐶✂️ We’ll help keep those eyes visible, that muzzle tidy, and your pup looking fresh until their next spa day.

Poochie’s Pro-Tip: If you’re starting to wonder “Does my dog even have eyes anymore?”… it might be time for a face trim. 😂👀

🐾🧡 SHOW OFF SUNDAY — MEET MAGGIE! 🧡🐾

This beautiful girl is Maggie, and she knows the secret to keeping that gorgeous coat looking its best — regular grooming! ✨🐶

Maggie visits us once a month, which helps keep her coat clean, soft, manageable, and looking absolutely fabulous. Just look at those beautiful fluffy ears and that fresh groom! 😍

Of course, looking glamorous isn’t Maggie’s only priority. When she isn’t getting pampered, you’ll find her playing ball or doing one of her very favorite things — snuggling up with her humans. 🎾💕

Sounds like a pretty perfect day to us!

Regular grooming can make such a difference, especially for pups with coats like Maggie’s. Keeping a consistent schedule helps us stay ahead of tangles and matting while maintaining the style her family loves. 🫧✂️

✨ Beautiful work by Diane! ✨

Maggie, you are looking gorgeous as always! 💜🐾

"🐾💜 **SHOW OFF SUNDAY: MEET MAGGIE!** 🧡🐾

✨ **Golden Curls, Happy Paws & Lots of Love!** ✨

This week's Show Off Sunday superstar is the beautiful **Maggie**, a sweet Goldendoodle who knows that looking fabulous takes a little TLC! 🐶💕

With her gorgeous golden curls, adorable face, and lovable personality, Maggie is the perfect combination of beauty and sweetness! 🥰

🛁 **A Monthly Date with Fabulous!**

Maggie visits us once a month to keep that beautiful coat of hers looking and feeling its best! 💜

Goldendoodles have coats that require regular attention, and Maggie's family knows just how important a consistent grooming routine can be!

Regular grooming helps prevent tangles and matting, keeps her coat clean and comfortable, and makes sure she's always ready for her next adventure! ✨

🎾 **Playtime, Snuggles & Everything Nice!**

When Maggie isn't busy getting pampered, you'll probably find her enjoying two of her favorite things:

🐾 **Playing Ball!** 🎾 Whether it's chasing, fetching, or convincing her humans that there's always time for one more throw, Maggie loves a good game!

💕 **Snuggling with Her Humans!** After all that excitement, there's nothing better than curling up with her favorite people for some well-deserved cuddles!

✂️ **A Little Magic from Diane!**

Our wonderful groomer **Diane** keeps Maggie's beautiful golden curls looking fresh, fluffy, and fabulous during her monthly visits! 🧡

We all know they’re adorable…
but we also know they’ve committed some very questionable crimes. 👀😂

Maybe your pup is guilty of:

🐾 Grand Theft Sandwich
🧦 Possession of Stolen Socks
🗑️ Unauthorized Dumpster Diving
🛋️ Destruction of Property
💨 Disturbing the Peace at 2 A.M.
🍗 Counter Surfing With Intent to Steal

👇 CONFESS FOR YOUR PUP!

Tell us your dog’s name + the crime they’re guilty of in the comments!

📸 AND SHOW US THE SUSPECT!

Drop their photo with your comment — some of our favorite canine criminals may be featured in a future post! 😂🐶

Poochie promises all suspects will be considered innocent until proven guilty… although the evidence may be overwhelming. 💜🧡

🐾🍑 POOCHIE’S PRO-TIP TUESDAY! 🍑🐾

Today Poochie is talking about one of the less glamorous parts of grooming… but your pup’s backside deserves some attention too! 😂🐶

Dogs have two small a**l glands that normally release fluid naturally. Sometimes, though, those glands can become overly full or fail to empty properly — and that can make for one very uncomfortable pup!

Keep an eye out for signs like:

🐾 Scooting across the floor
🐾 Excessive licking or biting at their rear
🐾 A strong, fishy odor
🐾 Difficulty getting comfortable or sitting normally

Keeping an eye on your dog’s a**l glands and expressing them when needed can help prevent uncomfortable buildup and impaction. If problems progress, impacted glands can sometimes become infected or develop an abscess.

💡 Poochie’s Pro Tip: Every dog is different! Some dogs empty their glands naturally and rarely need assistance, while others need a little extra help.

✂️ Dog’s Day Out Grooming offers a**l gland expression as part of our grooming services and as a standalone service! Ask us about it during your pup’s next visit. 💜🧡

If you notice significant swelling, bleeding, discharge, an open sore, severe pain, or recurring problems, those are signs your pup should be checked by a veterinarian.

Because sometimes good grooming really does mean taking care of them from nose to tail! 🐾😂

🐾🧡 SHOW OFF SUNDAY — MEET HENNY! 🧡🐾

We introduced you to Zozo, and now it’s time to meet her handsome brother, Henny! 🥰

Henny is a gorgeous, fluffy Alaskan Malamute who is also new to the area — and that beautiful Malamute coat means he brought a LOT of fluff with him! 😂🐾

After a good deshedding bath with Melissa, Henny is looking fresh, fluffy, and fabulous — but even better, he’s feeling so much cooler and more comfortable! 💜🫧

Deshedding services can make such a difference for our thick-coated friends by helping remove all that loose undercoat while keeping their beautiful coat healthy and looking its best.

Just look at that handsome face! 😍 We’re so happy to have Henny and Zozo joining the Dog’s Day Out family. Welcome to the neighborhood, boys! 🐶🐶🧡

✨ Beautiful work by Melissa! ✨
