When you take your dog out for a walk, do they ever give you the idea that it’s beneficial for them to check in with you? If not, chances are high that there are some other areas where they couldn’t care less about what you think. Sure, you’d love to maybe reward them with a treat when they do something that you like, but if they haven’t learned how to get rewarded, you’re just the person at the end of the leash keeping them from all of the stuff they wanna get to.

There’s something about building a dog’s pushy behaviors to turn around and teach them patience…that pushes your patience 😂 but I love it. A puppy that is confident in what you want from them is a beautiful thing 🤩
