Filming these pups is fun, and watching them learn is amazing, but nothing beats seeing a dog enjoy being out and about because they’ve earned their freedom. With consistency and practice, they finally understand what you’re asking, and life gets easier for everyone.

The goal is always to build a dog that’s a pleasure to be around. And that’s Finch! It was awesome to be able to take him along on the drive and let him venture to some different places along the way. I think his favorite part might have been meeting all of the people at the hotel though 😂 He can now say that he’s been to Kentucky and Tennessee!

Making sure that he got some time to practice his obedience ensured that he was able to relax in the hotel and work out the nerves from new sights, sounds, and smells.

There’s something about building a dog’s pushy behaviors to turn around and teach them patience…that pushes your patience 😂 but I love it. A puppy that is confident in what you want from them is a beautiful thing 🤩
