Its with a conflicted heart that I need to make this announcement.

I wanted to let you know that we are going to pause the throwdowns for 2026. Everything is good behind the scenes, but some transitioning is happening and we will need some time to make those adjustments.

The past 11 seasons have been incredible and my hope is to resume them when the time and the venue is correct for our events.

I do plan to offer some group rides/skills clinics locally this summer to keep the vibe going to do more coaching, so keep an eye out for those as we get organized.

I am very proud of the community that we have built over the last decade and its due to the participation that you all have given to the events. I personally know how difficult is in to leave work early, rush home, get the kids ready, grab bikes and get to the race. I value that commitment and I can see the reward in the kids faces at the events.

I plan to call a meeting to discuss and plan the future of Bulldog Youth Cycling with our core volunteers and would invite anyone that wants to get involved to send me note so that you can be included.

What a day of racing!!! Thanks to everyone that came out and played bikes with us!!!

Special thanks to all the medical people and others that we have in our community to rush to the aid of our injured rider. What a great show of love and support for each other. I am happy to hear back from mom and they are heading home from the hospital with a few sutures and some bandaged road rash. Nothing broken and she is doing well

ITS RACE DAY !!!!!! PLEASE READ!!!!
Online registration is closed, but we will be taking registrations on site up to 15 min. before the start of the each race, so get here early !!!

If you are participating in the Halloween ride in the dark -------LIGHTS ARE REQUIRED ON YOUR BIKE AND/OR HELMET. This can be as simple as a working flashlight taped to the handlebars. We do not have any extras, so please don't make us be the bad guys and not let you participate.

Waivers:

If you participated in the throwdowns this year, we will have a list at the reg table and will check off your name - no new waiver required as they are good for 2025.

If you are new to Bulldog and have not done any events with us in 2025, you will need to fill out a waiver and turn it in before you get a number plate. We will have blank waivers at the reg area.

Food : Uncle Eddie's BBQ will be serving food from 11 am-6pm.

Podiums: We will not be doing podium medals with this event, however we expect to see some fast racing and big smiles !!!
Halloween Hootenanny Tshirts:
if you ordered a t-shirt we will have them at the reg area for you to pick up. Please make sure that you have a form of payment along with you. We have a limited supply of extras that will be available for purchase.

Bulldog Merch : we will have a limited supply of older Bulldog Tshirts available for purchase at a good discount. Possibly a few hats. Check out the reg area for more details.

Donations : We are able to do these events at no cost due to the generosity of the participants, sponsors and grants. We will have a donation bucket at the reg area, but please only give if you are able to. Our mission is to make this sport available to everyone and not make cost an issue to participate. I want to point out especially our major contributor to our events Enbridge. Their grant opportunities, race support, volunteer hours mean the world to the Bulldog community!!! Thank you !!!
