Good morning everyone... so, I have seen a few posts on the "new" dog illness that is going around so I thought I would address it. This is not a "new" illness, it was also reported being spread back in 2021 and cases being reported since even before 2010 in some states. Most of us didnt read about it as it wasnt in the headlines like it is this year. This virus can be deadly, but can also be treated and is survivable in most cases if caught soon enough.

VIP Grooming is taking every precaution to make sure our little community and all the dogs in it are safe.

Here is what we are doing:

We will be booking later in the day appointments to be able to limit contqct with other dogs and to accommodate everyone for the holiday season.

Everything in the shop is sanitized before and after each dog. And I mean everything, floors to kennels to all grooming equipment

Any dog with respiratory symptoms (or any ill symptoms for that matter) will be turned away and can come back after a vet release.

We are going to do our part in making sure your pups grooming experience is a happy and safe one at VIP Grooming.

That being said... make sure your pups are up to date on vaccinations and monitor any symptoms if you see them (cough, runny nose, labored breathing) don't bring them around other dogs if they are sick.

Again, we are still booking grooming clients... we are just going to go the extra mile to make sure your pup is safe with us :-)
