Trumpeter horses and riders survived a very rainy Brave Horse II!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS in the 3’3” Performance hunters! They were also 6th in the Open USHJA Hunter Derby.

Galileo and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS in the USHJA 2’9” hunters, winning 4 out of 5 classes!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were CHAMPIONS of the 3’3”/3’6” Junior Hunters! They also WON 🥇 the NHS medal and were 2nd 🥈 in the Jr/Am USHJA National Hunter Derby!

Galileo and Addie had great trips in the 2’6” Low Children’s Equitation and Low Children’s Hunters divisions.

Charlie and Addie were terrific in the Large Pony hunters.

Ace Ventura and Maggie had a successful outing at their first outdoor show together! Ace also had good trips in the Baby Green Hunters with Lindsey.

Better late than never! Trumpeter CVF Series End Horse Show went fantastic!

Galileo and Addie were CHAMPIONS in the Low Child/Adult hunters!
Galileo and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS in the USHJA 2’6” hunters and RESERVE CHAMPIONS in the Very Green hunters!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were CHAMPIONS in the Junior hunters!

Charlie and Addie were RESERVE CHAMPIONS in the Large Pony hunters and won the Equitation on the flat!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS in the Performance hunters!

Making their horse show debut:

Desiderata, owned by Christie Schneckner, had great rounds in the Baby Greens with Lindsey, earning her first blue ribbon in her last over fences class! She and Christie also had great trips in their debut together!

Ace Ventura, owned by Maggie Leikin, had lovely rounds in the Very Greens with Lindsey! He also won his first blue ribbon in the under saddle class with Maggie!

We’re very excited about these young horses!

WEC 15:

Galileo, owned by Addie Schulz, was CHAMPION in the Baby Green division with Lindsey!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the 3’6” Junior Hunters! They were also 7th in the Non-Pro USHJA National Derby!

Galileo and Addie were 3rd in the 2’6” Non-Pro Derby! They also put in fabulous rounds in the Low Children’s Hunter division and the Low Children’s Equitation division earning lots of top 3 placings in large classes!

Trumpeter travelled to WEC this past week. Eilah Epstein and Dolphin Blue really knocked it out of the arena!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah:

* WON 🥇 the Non-Pro USHJA National Derby! Winning both rounds of the derby to a 12 point lead!
* WON the Dover USEF Hunter Seat Medal
* WON the WIHS Equitation Overall
* WON the Combined 3’3”-3’6” Junior Hunter Classic
* WON the Junior Hunter handy round
* 2nd 🥈 in the Maclay medal

Trumpeter would love to give a huge CONGRATULATIONS to our own, Julia Warholic! Julia won TWO GOLD MEDALS at the Special Olympics OH Indoor Winter Games today in the freestyle and breaststroke swimming events! We are so incredibly proud of her great accomplishments in and out of the pool!

Julia has been an active and loved member of the Trumpeter family for years. Even when she’s not riding, she shows up and volunteers her time at locally held horse shows. She’s the favorite rider of any horse she sits on; they all love her more than their owners! We love seeing her smile, and her laugh is infectious. We’re grateful to have her as part of our family and, again, we’re so so proud of her!

CVF Valentine’s Day Show quick Wrap-Up:

Galileo, owned by Addie Schulz, and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS of the 2’6” USHJA Hunters and RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the 2’6” Very Greens! He and Addie also WON 🥇 the Low Child/Adult Eq on the Flat!

Charlie and Addie were CHAMPIONS of the Med/Large Pony Hunters and were 🥈 in the Pony Hunter Classic! They also WON 🥇WIHS Pony Medal, and the Pony Eq on the Flat!

Dolphin Blue was CHAMPION in the Performance Hunters! Dolphin Blue and Eilah WON 🥇 the NHS Taylor Orlowski medal and were 4th in the Combined Jr/AO Classic!

The new season is upon us and the Trumpeter team started off with a bang!

Charlie and Adeyln were CHAMPIONS of the Large Pony Hunters! They also WON 🥇 the WIHS pony medal, the USEF pony medal AND the Pony Eq on the flat!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey moved up to the 3’3” and were CHAMPIONS of the 3’3” Performance Hunter division!

Galileo and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS of the Very Green Hunters in his first hunter show and first show state-side!

Dolphin Blue and Lindsey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the 3’3” Performance Hunter division!

Galileo and Adelyn competed together for the first time and had lovely rounds in the Low Ch/Adult Hunters! They also WON 🥇 their Classic and the Eq on the Flat!

I’m a Big Deal and Maggie switched things up and entered the Hunter ring together for the first time! They put in great performances in the Low Ch/Adult Hunters and were 2nd 🥈 in their Classic!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah moved up to the 3’6” Junior Hunters and put in fantastic rounds; earning a blue 🥇 and other top ribbons! They were also 3rd 🥉in the combined Jr/Am 3’3”-3’6” Classic!

Chryseis Z and Eilah teamed up for the first time and put in great efforts in the Ch/Adult hunters. They WON 🥇 the under saddle and were 5th in their Classic!

Conan and Lilly were back in the ring after a summer vacation. They had very competitive rounds in the 1.0-1.05m Jr/Am Jumpers!

Zara, aka, Chryseis Z, is an 8 year old, 16.05h mare. She has the best attitude and is not, in the slightest, mare-ish. Zara is quick to learn and eager to please; with an in-your-pocket personality. She is a people-pony and wants to be around her humans. Zara was imported from Belgium as a 6 year old living in a field with no show history. She moved up to the 3' Greens in 2025, and has schooled up to 4'3" at home. Zara also began hunter derbies in 2025, placing first in her second derby appearance.
She has top rankings nationally and regionally in the 3' Greens, 3' USHJA, National Hunter derby, and Green Incentive program, including USHJA Zone Champion. She is 2025 Champion in the Greens for OPHA, OHJA, WPaPHA and IHJA. Zara is a hack winner with suspenseful movement, and an easy, big stride. She has been easily ridden by children and adult amateurs at home.
Zara is a joy to have in the barn and a favorite of everyone who meets her. Stands for farrier, ships, clips, and has no known vices. She will move into the 3'3" Greens starting in the new season. Oakie is a 9 year old American Warmblood gelding. With beautiful coloring and attitude to match, Oakie stands at 16.2. He is currently showing with his adult amateur in the jumper divisions and has successfully competed up to 0.90m. Oakie is sweet, forgiving and can take a joke; an ideal first horse (or second, or third!). He is a pleasure to have in the barn. He hacks alone or with a group easily, in and out of the ring. Oakie has no known vices, except for his love of treats! Priced in the low 5s starting with a 2 , he is looking for his next person.
