Dear Friends,
Please show your support of our good friend and Eagle Scout, Dylan Eddy by stopping by his bake sale (goodies for humans and pups!) for our Deepwood Animal Rescue Fund tomorrow (Saturday 6/6) anytime between 8am and 4pm at the Dog Stop in Centreville (6001 Centreville Crest Lane, Centreville, VA 20121) in the same shopping center with Lidl, Lotte and Five Guys. Dylan chose our DARF 501c3 for his Eagle Scout project. He will be using the funds earned from the bake sale to build benches/bird houses and bird feeders to provide seating for people visiting our DARF pups and entertainment for all pets to watch nature from their boarding windows. Any additional proceeds he is donating to the care of the animals in DARF.

⚠️ Warning issued after rabid kitten captured near Centreville park

The Fairfax County Health Department has issued a rabies alert after a rabid kitten was captured near the entrance of Poplar Ford Park in Centreville. Residents should contact the health department if they had contact with the kitten between May 12 and May 15 and are advised to ensure pets are vaccinated and to report any strange animal behavior.

These sweet babies are brother and sister, 3.5 years old, Cockapoos. They are bonded, and have been together their whole lives so they must be adopted together.
