Fox Hill Eventing is seeking a motivated working student for a 3-day eventing program. Professional Rider and Trainer, ECP Level VI Instructor, Licensed FEI and USEF XC Course Designer, is looking for a dedicated person to assist in Maryland with daily barn work, riding, and grooming. There will be plenty of on-the-job training. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of horsemanship, riding, competition skills, and training. We have had successful students reach the 4- and 5-star levels, with international coaching experience. Fox Hill Eventing is looking for a long-term, hard-working, self-motivated individual to start as soon as possible. It’s an excellent chance for someone wanting to improve their riding and competition skills while gaining knowledge in horse care and management. The facility is lovely and low-key, featuring a 7-stall barn, pasture board, outdoor arena, dressage ring, jump field, some cross-country, and plenty of space to gallop. Work schedule is 6 days a week. Duties include feeding, turn-in and turn-out, blanketing, light stall cleaning, grooming at shows, tack cleaning, and more. We offer beautiful housing, meals, free board for one horse, daily lessons, training, and transportation to local shows. There’s also the option to take lessons on other horses for the right person. We hope to find someone able to commit for a year or a shorter period if needed.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic individual. Weekly stipend is included.
