Meet Chuck. I know, I know, it's original! We usually don't name wildlife. I am just over the moon that Chuck has an appetite and is eating well. Chuck came in yesterday after he got himself into a bit of trouble. He was found exhausted in a bucket. Thankfully, he was found in time and brought to us.

This fluff nugget came in Saturday. I hesitated to post because I wasnt sure she would make it through the night. I am happy to report she seems to be doing okay and is on the mend. She was accidentally hit with a mower and is missing a ear and has some wounds to her head. Send some good vibes for continued healing!

Thank you to the man and his son who stopped and found him help.

Just know when one person does something ugly, there are many more people out here going above and beyond to keep the world beautiful 💜. Those people make our village! Choose kindness; it's simple.

Sometimes in rescue, the wins are what keep us hopeful. I am so grateful this little one was such a fighter! She came to us in April after being accidentally struck with a w**d wacker. I don't have pictures of her when she first came in. I did take a couple after she began to heal.
