We agreed to take two hens from Queens ACC. They had a long transport and are ready to spread their wings! I will say Goldie is the most rooster looking hen I've seen or heard 🤣 welcome to the flock cock-a-doodle doooo

I have a soft spot for reptiles and amphibians.

I waited a few days to post this because I wasn't sure this little one would make it.

His eyes were swollen and shut; he is small and not in good shape.

It is so important that we leave wildlife in the wild. I cannot stress enough the complicated care and requirements these animals need.

Today is a win: his eyes are open and he ate on his own! Here are some photos of when he came in, one of which shows him soaking in a carrot bath. 🥕 🐢

I was having one of those can't wait to get home days yesterday. Tired, hungry and exhausted yes i used two different words for tired I was double tired....when I reached my driveway at 6:22 my phone ring. I looked down, didn't recognize the number and sighed.

Hi, I have a fawn I found in the middle of a busy tractor trailer route in East Syracuse.
Does it appeared injured
No open wounds but I think its back hooves are facing the wrong direction.
Meet her to get fawn...
Both back hooves are facing the wrong direction one at 45 degree angle the other a little more.
Guess I'm driving cornell......
Turns out it was a congenital deformity one it couldn't live with...
Sorry I couldn't help more than just ending your suffering little one.....
