In December 2023, Dante's Hope and Barking Lots Boarding & Daycare partnered together to do a Christmas outreach - a pet food pantry to help the community at the holidays. We had no idea then the impact we'd make! And what has come about since then is a truly remarkable, one-of-a-kind resource for Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities. ❤️

In the past year, Barking Hope Pet Pantry has helped over 200 families feed and care for their household pets. That's 200 families whose animals did not end up in an overcrowded shelter or rescue, or abandoned altogether, simply because they could no longer afford to care for them due to financial hardship. We've made a difference, and we are just getting started! 🐩🐈🦜🦎

🎊 Today is pick-up day at our Pantry! It's always a great day when we can help feed so many pets and ease the burden on their families! Because of the generosity of organizations like AGives and other area businesses, we're there to help when help is needed most.

📣 Great things are happening at Barking Hope Pet Pantry. In 2025, we intend to reach even more pet families, open longer hours, and maybe even expand our operations! You can donate pet food and new or gently-used pet supplies at PetSmart on South Mall Drive, Crossroads Animal Hospital, or Barking Lots Boarding & Daycare.

💲 Do you or your business have the means to help offset our monthly operating costs? Let us know! Your donations are tax-deductible through Dante's Hope - Animal Rescue! Every dollar donated helps save another family from making painful decisions to give up their pets.

Just a Reminder that voting is open for Settlement at Willow Grove's Most Adorable Pet! This fundraiser helps our Rescue and our Pantry raise money for much needed supplies, vet bills and all the things that come from being the Rescuers. Check out Dante's Hope - Animal Rescue for more information!
