We are looking to hire a new smile!

Part time veterinary technician or skilled assistant needed. For this position experience is required. The skill set must include basic general knowledge of using a computer. Experience with Avimark veterinary software would be wonderful but not required. Must have the ability to restrain dogs and cats of various sizes and a willingness to learn new procedures and techniques. Preferred to have experience in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, scaling and polishing of teeth. Must be proficient in trimming nails, expressing a**l glands, and give basic injections. Must be proficient with venipuncture and possess good laboratory skills. We are willing to train you in specific areas. Client education and communication skills are required. The ideal candidate must be capable of being a multi-tasker, dependable, responsible, friendly, outgoing, server of customers, and a lover of pets. Must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail even under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary. We are a very busy practice that takes pride in helping our patients. We require our team to maintain a positive and friendly attitude and won’t accept less. This position is for 3 or 4 floating days per week, hours will vary and may require working some full or half days as needed to fill in for other staff members. Salary and benefits are negotiable.
