HELP! We need a minimum of 5 more DEA 1.1 negative/universal dogs to donate next week! We've got animal hospitals who have waited 4+ weeks and may have to wait even longer if we can't get enough donors in. Please spread the word, and if you know any one with a dog that would be a good donor candidate, please have them give us a call to set up a FREE donor screening exam.

Kind of good news. At the moment it seems as though grooming salons in ohio will be allowed to re-open on May 12th. 😊 We are still aiming for that date. We are implementing some protocols to keep in line with everyone's health and safety in mind.
Jan's Grooming COVID-19 Protocol. To ensure the safety and wellness of our customers and staff the following is a list of sanitation and safety protocols we are following.

-All commonly used areas will be disinfected frequently.
-Staff will be wearing face masks, we would appreciate our clients wear one
as well when coming into the shop.
-Staff will be washing hands frequently, and/or using hand sanitizer when unable to
wash.
-Staff will be monitoring their temperature daily prior to arrival to work.
- We are asking our clients to please wait in your car while there is another client
in the shop.
- We will have a large kennel in the front area, and are asking our clients to remove their dog's collar and leash and place their dog into the kennel.
-Our door will be locked while someone is inside. We are asking our clients to lock
the door behind them when they enter. To avoid any accidents.

These protocols will be updated as need be, to keep everyone safe.

So here we are at the end of the 2 week stay at home order. I was truly hoping against all hope, that this post would be to say - yeah, we are cleared to come back to work. Unfortunately, this post is not to say that, but to say we have to be closed through the month of April now. Over the next couple of days, I will be contacting people to let everyone know. I am trying to figure out how best to get appointments rebooked, so just bare with me. In the meantime if you have any questions on how you can help maintain your babies, please contact me, and I will do my best to help you. Please, everyone stay safe and above all stay healthy!

Ok, people I am asking for you all to take pics of how you and your families, 4-legged members as well, are weathering out this blip in our lives. Since I will not be able to get my daily dose of kisses and luving, I am hoping this will help all of us get through the next couple of weeks.

Due to Gov. Dewine's stay-at-home order issued today, barring only a select few professions/businesses to remain open until April, 6th, 2020, the shop will be closed. We will be calling everyone that are booked to inform and rebook them. Please bare with us, as we try to work out the best way to accommodate everyone.

I would like to take a moment to thank all of my wonderfully amazing extended doggy and kitty family! We just received the next door neighbor award for the 2nd year in a row! Thank you to everyone that voted, but more importantly - thank you all for allowing myself and Rhonda to be a part of your lives and entrusting your babies to us!
