Guardian extraordinaire.
Protector of family, property, livestock.
Smartest and bravest dog I've ever known.
Loyal to his last breath.
My once in a lifetime dog.
He found and chose us as we lived in a little house by a highway in full on survival mode.
He protected us from robberies. Guarded our children. Moved to a postage stamp back yard in the heart of a city with us. Protected us from even more burglaries and break-ins.
He survived all our moves, loyal through it all but a light switched on in him when we finally made it to the farm.
TranquiliT Farm was built on his back. He's the reason we could keep chickens alive right off the bat. Then goats. Then mini cows. All by himself, against massive predator pressure.
Then he trained a fluffy du***ss of a puppy named Odin. Taught Odin to look at the sky for predators as well as the ground.
We rewarded his long suffering mentorship with another pup to train two years later. In Luna he found a pure hearted guardian that matched his intention and discipline.
Luna and Odin have now assumed Thors mantle. The paw prints to fill are huge. They both seem sad and extra vigilant since he passed.
Thank you Thor. Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for your life of service. I hope you always knew how much we love you.
