Training and class schedules for September.

Group Obedience Classes: NOTE: all classes will now be at our Centertown facility. Address: 305 Waterford Rd, Centertown MO 65023

🎾Please message Trisha if you would like to attend class, this is only for dogs that have been through board and train program. You must reserve a spot in order to attend classes.

Dog Boarding: we do have availability for most upcoming dates. Please let us know in advance if you need boarding so you get a secure slot. We book out quickly around holidays as well so don’t wait to book. Note: we only board dogs that have been though our training programs.

Board and train programs: we are currently booked out until the beginning of November. In order to get on the board and train list, we do need a copy of your dog’s vaccine records with all requirements. If you would like more information on our programs, please visit the website below and fill out a dog information form. Once that is received, we will get back to you asap.

A bittersweet day for Conway and his handler, Brooks.

We brought Conway home at just 8 weeks old, and from day one, we knew he had the heart and potential to become an incredible service dog. When Brooks’ parents reached out in search of a service dog to help with his epilepsy, the bond between Brooks and Conway was instant.

Over the past few months, this team has trained, grown, and overcome every challenge side by side. Today, Conway officially passed his service dog certification — and he’s now Brooks’ forever partner.

While we’ll miss having Conway with us, our hearts are full knowing he’s exactly where he belongs: by Brooks’ side, ready to serve, love, and protect.

Winston and Ace finishing up their training with some real life training.

Look at these two distinguished gentlemen holding it down in a busy pet store — surrounded by new people, unfamiliar smells, and endless distractions. Hard to believe, but one of these boys struggled with serious aggression issues, while the other battled intense anxiety. Now? They’re calmly coexisting in a brand-new environment without a single reaction.

We couldn’t be prouder of the progress they’ve made in just four weeks. At Got Your Six Dog Training, we focus on real-life training in real-world situations. Anyone can teach a sit or down — but without duration, distance, and distractions, those commands won’t hold when it counts.

Conway our seizure alert service dog in training working with his soon to be best furever friend, working on his tasks in public. Conway is trained to help Brooks with several different type of  seizures and pressure therapy. My heart is so happy for the two of them and how they paired so well together. Dogs are such amazing creatures and we are so blessed to have them in our lives.

We had wonderful Group Class tonight!

We work on proofing our obedience skills with the Owners and their pups. Any behaviors they are struggling with and advanced training. This pups did wonderful with all the new dogs and people around. We are so proud of every owner and their dogs for continuing the training at home and putting in the Work.

After every board and train program, the owner gets six follow up classes where they can train with their dog. Board and train programs are only successful if the owner is keeping up with the training and knows what to do. That’s why at Got Your Six, we always offer classes after the program.

Nova finishing up her training with some public access.

Nova came to us as a very scared dog, her parents had rescued her from a bad life. Nova had a lot of fear aggression prior to training. You could tell she was never a house dog, didn’t know what a dog bed was. Over the past 4 weeks…she has gained so much confidence. She co existed with all the people and cats in the store. Nova was able to do all her commands. We are so proud of her progress! We are so honored to be able to help her have a more happier and enjoyable life! ❤️
