Back-to-School Can Be Hard on Pets, Too! ๐พ๐
As the kids head back to school and family routines change, your pet may suddenly be spending more time aloneโand that can lead to separation anxiety.
Watch for signs like excessive barking or whining, destructive behavior, accidents, pacing, or extra clinginess.
๐ Help your pet adjust by:
โข Keeping a consistent routine
โข Providing plenty of exercise and enrichment
โข Practicing short departures and calm returns
โข Offering favorite toys or treat puzzles
โข Talking with your veterinarian if anxiety continues
A little preparation can make the back-to-school transition easier for everyone. ๐ถ๐ฑโค๏ธ
