Well, it’s been a while! 💛

As you know, our girls are officially retired. They’ve been enjoying the city life since recently moving to town. So many new smells and new friends to make.

We would like to introduce you to Cedar, again! This time as a stud. Cedar turned two last September. He has his OFA certifications and genetic clearances all taken care of.

Cedar is simply the best. He speaks like a husky, cuddles harder than any other golden we’ve had, and has the most gentle sweetest temperament. He’s a dark red and he is SO handsome. He’s never lost that puppy softness.

If you or someone you know is looking for a stud, please reach out. Because we believe in responsible breeding practices, we do have some requirements of a dam for breeding. We can talk more about that as well.

The kids enjoyed donating lots of supplies to the Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control. New collars, blankets, toys and other miscellaneous supplies we had 🐾 We are looking forward to continuing this! Such a great place 🐾

We have a big announcement!

When we decided to start breeding, we kept our girls (Bella and Sage) “family first”. Meaning, we knew that we might not breed them for long. As a family, we have decided that now is the time to let both of our girls enjoy retirement and family first 💛 We will no longer be breeding Bella and Sage.

We have met so many incredible people through our girls! We are so thankful for each one of the families that have loved one of our puppies through the years.

Over the next year, you’ll see us transition into using Cedar as a stud after genetic testing, and OFA standards have been met. Cedar just turned one year old and will not be available for stud use until after September 2024.

Thank you to all of our precious puppy families, we love you! 💛

We get asked a lot what our favorite brush is for our Golden's. We LOVE this brush, recommended to us by a friend and groomer. It's great for Golden Retrievers, or any other dog with a longer coat. It has two sides. One with wider a wider teeth, and the other closer together. Use the side with the closer teeth first, followed by the other side. It's basic and affordable and truly does a fantastic job. Hope you love it!

This is always such a bittersweet day for us!

Six perfect puppies went home today with six perfect families. We are so thankful for such awesome people to take over caring for these precious little ones! 🤍 🐾 🤍
