If anyone had told me a year ago I would have 4 mares in my barn, I would have said you were crazy! Guess I am the crazy one!

Jasmine came for the weekend so she and Calleigh could get acquainted. They will both make their way to Ironwood on Tuesday.

Yesterday we celebrated with Vic and Elissa with some social haggling, picture viewing, yummy food, and riding in the arena.

We had another great time today riding in the arena and then a short trail ride for Brenda & I.

Looking forward to the riding season ahead!

It’s been quite some time since I posted on my stable page. After losing my Howard last June, there hasn’t been much to celebrate, until recently.

Today, Dale Hartley fulfilled a life long dream of becoming a horse owner! Noka arrived 2 weeks ago for assessment and evaluation. She settled in almost immediately, has gained weight, and returned to her baseline behavior…slightly neurotic but manageable 🤣. Dale has been here with Noka every day, providing a consistent presence, helping her establish her new routine, and reestablishing their former bond.

We are thankful to Joy Baker for reaching out to me, when it became clear that Noka was struggling at Fair Haven. We are grateful to Wendy-Jo and the leadership at camp for allowing Noka to retire after her many years of service as a camp horse. Noka has many fans from her years at Fair Haven and while she has been well loved, I believe she has earned the privilege of having her own person. I am excited to continue to work with Dale & Noka and see many happy trails in their future!

I too was the recipient of an amazing gift horse this past week. I am waiting for the opportunity for a photo shoot before I post about the new horse in my life!

It’s raining mares, hallelujah! Stay tuned for more from The Master’s Stable!!

Yesterday enjoyed a nice lunch & Kelly Cupcakes with the TMS Hags & our fabulous farrier Erica. Early Christmas presents seemed appropriate to me as a way of expressing my thanks and appreciation for these wonderful women I am blessed to share my stable with.

Morning chores in the fog. Why is it so satisfying to look at a freshly dragged arena??

Fall is my favorite time of year to ride!! 6 of us went to Memory Lane in Andover for an epic HAGS Retreat weekend Sept 9-12. Here are a few pictures from that fun Hagglin’ time…but not all the pictures. What happens at the HAGs retreat, stays at the HAGs retreat 🤣

Happy spring! Some exciting news here at the farm. Pride has found his special someone!! We are thrilled to welcome Kim Loper to the barn family. Kim is one of my Tally-Ho girls and I couldn’t be more thrilled. She is already spoiling Pride with lots of attention, treats, a new halter, and new grooming tools. We are looking forward to many happy trails ahead!
